Dying playerbase
Not a suggestion, just an observation
I notice recently UK 4 has been dropping players sharply lately and is joining NA 1 in losing players.
I feel that as more and more cheaters come, less and less players play.
As of recently, I feel there's a major decrease in mutation games and a increase in more team based games.
Of course with less players = less games to choose to cheat on.
This is both a good and bad thing. With less players, the natural anti cheat system which is to wait for cheaters to quit CF is starting to take effect.
However the player base could be considered the blood of a game. If a game has a lot of players then it is alive otherwise it's basically dead.
So I feel most of the cheaters has gotten bored from the decrease in players to dominate.
Of course there's still cheaters lingering around trying to kill off whatever is left of the player base.

CF just replaced the broken kukri red crystal with regular kukri and therefore broke most of the speed slashers cheats and the only explanation is that most of the speed slashers left since their cheats stopped working. I'm not sure about this, but I see only mostly speeders and a few cheaters that speed slashes with the xuan yuan sword.

Nevermind, UK 4 is still pretty alive. But CF is still dying tho. Well NA 1 is. Speed slashers has gone down since the broken kukri has been replaced with the normal kukri. However this is my observation and it may have no correlation together.

There are 3 type of thing that make me wants to stop spending or playing this game: Cheaters, people insulting for no reason and kick abuser, there are probably more reason.
In 1 public game particularly someone on enemy team were glitching and a 3 stars general player wrote this "this is not my problem anymore, this is CF".... this type of guy really deserve a big punch on his own face IRL so he didn't get kicked until the end of the match only 1 called the vote.
I'm an arrogant guy but look how immature people are on the internet, i feel like i'm dealing with uneducated kids(most of them at least) daily. -

I dont know why u say its a dying playerbase because this weekend we had two of the
uk servers both full at the point that u couldnt enter on uk4 sometimes, how is that a dying playerbase? -

If you didnt count the cheaters. I would say both Server where maybe half full. -

I'd actually venture to say it's both. I'll say that Z8 has or had ramped up their banning efforts from hack reports. But more needs to be done on their part. It really should be their sole focus for awhile. However, I'd argue that the Anti-cheat isn't keeping up to date as often as it should with respects to the new hack codes for whatever reason. But i'm seeing more and more types of people hacking too which indicates that people are resorting to fighting fire with fire or to the mentality of "well they're doing so why not me?". In fact most of the hackers i've ran into, to the exception of the ones in mutation modes, have been low pingers who speak English well and are willing to taunt others. Which tells me their alt-accounts of other people just messing around because they know the ban cycle is slow and likely won't get their main effected. So demand for cheats is higher for sure as well. -

I totally have the same feeling that you have. If there wasn't the event i'm going for i would probably not log in anymore (in that regard z8 congratz you made an event to atleast keep me playing not enjoying it tho but i'm playing) -

They actually lost the control when they launched Ranked match. Right now I guess all hackers just got bored of ranked match and infecting pub rooms with it. -
Been playing for 7 years or so, and honestly it's not as bad. Hackers went and gone in waves and this will be same most likely. That being said, however, what differs now is just how little players are here compared to back then. We do get better events than ever before (both zp and free), but if you noticed; the events became harder/more time consuming. Z8 clearly wants players to play the game with the "play X hours for Y event, get Z reward" events.
But things go deeper in regards to diminishing playerbase. I think it has to do with us aging and ultimately not having enough time for games--I can hardly play 1 hour daily for current event--And then there's another thing of our gaming habit changes, or simply competition with our playerbase going to other fps games.
Well, then it must be that new players replace old players? Yeah, it should, but it's not happening. I can't believe that there are many new dedicated players; even if they come, they don't last. Lack of advertisment doesn't help either.
But I think game really started dying was with the "Regional Block" thing when CF EU version was launched, more so later on with CF BR. Without "very disliked" foreigners playing from not yet blocked regions, I'd wager to say the playerbase would be half that is currently.
I'm not trying to throw "this game is going to die. I truly hope this game that was with me for the better or worst part for 7 years of my life will be so for much longer (even if I don't play as much as before), like Runescape I'm playing for 12 years now. One can only hope, but I doubt it'll be reality. -

This isn't how it works. People are going to use hacks if there are hacks available, regardless of ranked match or not. In earlier times events used to be scarce and did not have rewards of this value. Because they did not need constant events to force players to spend time on this game. People loved this game and used to play it for fun and entertainment. Now all everyone care is to collect skins, ribbons and so on. -
