so I was just looking for ideas to be inspired from for the H screenshot contest

I find this old screen in google



and decided to re do it to be suitable to these days for the contest

then when I went to metro ,this happened...



apparently the ceiling doesn't dripping gas anymore...I was planning to take a screen at the moment the gas hit the ghost...and my idea for a screen blew up lol

did I miss something?the gas/smoke effect was a bug or something and get fixed?

I don't think it was a bug, I would sooner think it's a bug that it isn't working now.
Anyways it would make alot more sense that it would drip gas imo (for GM).
Sad to see such an original idea go straight up in the air

I think on shadow mode there are 2-3 maps that splashing water from the ceiling when you shoot it. you can try there as well

You can still do it by using a smoke grenade below the ghost. If you get the same effects, I'm not too sure.

i was playing metro yesterday and the smoke was there, check ur settings

hrmm i haven't played Metro in awhile...but I could swear that the smoke effect coming down from the central area still happens or at least it did the last time I played the map I thought. It's not a constant smoke effect, it comes and goes though.

ye after all it was issue with the settings

so here it is...my screen for the "most scary" category(sent it in ticket few minuets ago)



I still have few surprises for the "most creative" category-will submit another screens in few days

The problem was with my desktop monitor-I have it since 6-7 years ago and I guess the game effects doesn't support such an old screen

When I tried to log in from my laptop that I buy few months ago everything was fine and the effects worked so I took the ss from the laptop -_-
