I know the board resets but does the MP get restarted too? Never saw this text before until the latest update and just want the heads up so I can buy another sword.

Yes. You can only stay with 12K. So spend it on whatever till you reach around 12K.

If you have more than 12k mp it will be reset to 12k on 1st yes on the other hand if you have less than 12k it will stay the same without changes.
