Hi, everyone!

It's [MOD]weiwei, again. Can you believe the matches for September are almost over? Next Saturday's match will determine which team will emerge victorious after another intense four weeks. Don't forget to support them next Saturday on Twitch. For more information on the teams and match times, check out the official CFCL homepage.

For the next couple of weeks (at least through October), you can expect interviews of our top CFCL talents to be posted on here. Since there's only so many weeks in a month, yet there's more than 10 teams competing each month, unfortunately, not every team will be interviewed.

This week's interview is with some Russian legends... You guessed it.

Please tell us a little about ruLegends.
We are a team that has been playing competitively for more than 4 years now. We went through a period where we had unsuccessful results from changes in our roster. We realized that in the long run, this does not work. With a firm resolution, it is the current roster that has gathered together to achieve a common goal, which is to become recognized as a top 3 team.


Well then I am very interested in meeting this team! Can you please tell us a little about each of you?
ruL.Treak:
Name: Aleksei
Age: 24
Position: In-Game Leader

Hi all, I'm Treak. My role is in-game leader/sniper. I've been playing Crossfire since 2010. My job is to do everything to ensure victory for our team.

ruL.Arsa:
Name: Arseny
Age: 19
Position: Support

Hi! I'm arsa. I started playing Crossfire in 2010. My first serious team was Carnage, I was subsequently invited to play with THE RED, and a year later I became a part of ruLegends. Since then, I've been playing with this team.

ruL.drace:
Name: Maksim
Age: 21
Position: Lurker

My name is Maxim. I've been playing in the Crossfire since 2010. I started participating in international tournaments back in 2013. My goal is to win the CFS championship.

Position: Attacker

Hi, all! I'm Anton, I've been playing for 7 years and my ultimate goal is also win CFS. That's all I have to say.

ruL.vais:
Name: Yuri
Age: 19
Position: Attacker

Hi! I'm vais and I have been playing as attacker in ruLegends for about 4 years. I've been playing Crossfire since 2011. I feel like I'm currently in my best shape and I will definitely do my best to win this current CFCL season.


I heard you guys are a lot of fun, both on Crossfire and offline. Can you tell us a little about what you like to do when you're not playing Crossfire, such as hobbies?
ruL.Treak: I usually spend time with my family, friends, a girl, and I also like to play games such as Skyrim, Witcher and other RPGs.

ruL.Arsa: In my spare time I try to spend with friends. I don't really have a specific hobby, but I like a lot of things in life.

ruL.drace: I like to watch football in the company of my friends, although I don't have a high alcohol tolerance. I also love cars and girls.

ruL.Exiwer: My hobbies include sports betting and Russian fishing.

ruL.vais: My hobbies include cars, tattoos, and juicy Russian girls.


How does it feel to be part of CFCL Elite tournament?
This year we were unable to participate in CFGI, although we won the qualifiers for our region. Thus, we are grateful for CFCL, where we can compete with international teams before CFS. It is very important for us to get the extra practice from participating in CFCL.


Congratulations on winning first place in CFCL August’s tournament. Are you guys excited? How do you feel?
Yes. We did not expect to take first place, but we were very lucky. Of course, we can't complain. Even though we are satisfied with our results last month, our focus now is CFCL September and CFS. We don't want to feel too relaxed.


Sounds like you guys are very focused! Speaking of which, what are some things you guys do to prepare for matches?* Do you guys have any sort of routine?
ruL.Treak: I think about the critical moments in the game and I think about what can go wrong, and try to come up with a plan B.

ruL.Arsa: Before an important match, I try to concentrate only on the game and throw away all other unnecessary thoughts in my head. Recently, I also focus on controlling emotions so as not to waste extra energy during a match.

ruL.drace: Before an important game, I like to play half an hour FFA.

ruL.Exiwer: Before the matches, I just train my shooting and eat bananas.

ruL.vais: I get up early and go for a run to the park.


Which team(s) has been the most challenging for you thus far in CFCL?
As you know, there is a big difference with ping for NA players and UK players. We find it difficult to play against teams on NA servers, so there's quite a few of such teams.


I can totally understand. My ping in UK makes me want to throw my mouse out the window sometimes, haha. So, what has been the fondest memory of CFCL for your team?
The best memory is when I saw our team on the list of participants.


I like that, you guys find gratitude for the simple things. Then, do guys have a CFCL player you guys admire?
In our opinion, just naming one specific player is difficult. After all, we have been playing against teams, not a single player. We think these teams are very good - STDx, FreshFox, Carbw0w, Exotic, Flipsid3.


Touché. Do you have any comments/advice/words/quotes/news for your fans?
We want to thank all the participants of the CFCL for some great games. We also want to convey a warm greeting to all*who supported us*or who just watch us when we are playing. We would also like to thank the admins for having accepted us into CFCL.
