Hackers can do this now?

Not sure if this has been known or not but for hackers to have the ability to change your save replay settings so you can't save an replay of the game for proof. Noticed that it has to be a thing now since almost every game i've gone into with a hacker and my settings are set correctly and the end it'll always say "turn on save replay settings". Kinda figured out that this isn't some bug but rather a new feature within hacks.

These settings are stored locally on your computer. This can be proven by installing CrossFire on a new computer. Your settings will have changed, including the save replay setting.

A hacker cannot make changes to files on your computer through CrossFire.

This is a bug. I haven't played any games on my laptop in probably around 2 years, I just use it for spinning crates. A couple of patches back, my replays were turned off. Having not been in a game for many months, this could not have been a hacker.

Edit: If you can prove me wrong, I'll accept it - but for now, I don't believe hackers can do that.

The Game can be rather finnicky with it's settings at times. It only happened to me once that the Replay settings changed themselves without me having allowed it to do so.

Do try ShadowROs advice, as I think he has the right angle on how to fix it.
