idea for hackers

Here's an idea to deal with hackers, like legit hackers and not high ranking players getting their ribbon removed cause of one good game they had in the past (like me). Just have legit hackers be able to join one server only that is filled with hackers like themselves. Problem solved, now would there be many of them within that hacker only server? I would think so. Maybe change it up so that every time the join a game it's an insta-death get creative cause i can see why NO ONE from the Z8 team actually discussing any plan on hacking
tolerance, cause right now there is none. It was fine a few years ago then by somehow the walls just magically cracked open and unleashed few more years of constant hackers, but wait there's a pattern here. Hacker free for like a year at most then hacker galore for the next few then hacker free again but the "wall" isn't sealed up all the way and we'd see a few during that time. Like c'mon all i ask and most of the community too would like something get done besides "Send a support ticket".

  • I would think the obvious punishment for hackers is being instantly banned, not rewarding them with their own server...
  • No. Just no. I see that you're trying to come up with ideas, which is good, but... No.

Did I read Legit and Hackers
    in same sentence

Awesome Way to bring on more hackers.
  • I mean if the idea is it would limit them strictly to one server and only that server....and thus since they are still able to log-in to their hacking account they'll continue to play on it but be restricted to that server instead of creating numerous more accounts each time they get banned for hacking. Then on a slight chance...it might work a bit....but it'd still require identifying the hacker. And one problem is a lot of nabs that hack do it just to annoy the legit player base. So they'd still likely end up creating a new account just to come annoy the good guys.

I'm much more down with the idea of limiting new accounts into the Rookie Server for a longer period of time and having FREQUENT GM/Support patrols that result in instant bans should they see signs of hackers. The biggest downside to this is that ALL new players would get limited to there for a longer period and being forced to play with such an influx of hacks could either drive new players away as they join....or drive them to also hack as it would appear to be the norm in the game.

Ultimately...we need an anti-hack system that actually works....that's what we really need.
  • Nothing will happen that will bring more hackers
    • IGN Ezio
  • If they can detect them to put them in the "Hacker only" server, then why not just outright ban them?
  • I'm sure the cheaters are not that dumb to join a "cheater only server"
Your idea is not original, infact I think I read somewhere that CF China has implemented this suggestion where
a server has only cheaters for them to cheat to their heart's content, so that they stay away from the other servers.

But I could be wrong and I just read someone's made up BS. However reserving a server for cheaters to run wild is like
surrendering to the cheaters because Crossfire can't defeat them. I believe we should continue discouraging cheaters from cheating.

I respect that you are trying to improve cf system but this way is the farthest to happen.
  • Well what I understand now is that you're suggesting to make a server for hackers oO!!!!
it's sound like u say "welcome hackers that we must ban" XD
  • I think one of the best idea for hakers control was suggested in a thread
posted in suggestions section and named "specific achievements for joining a server""
just go there and give it a +1
  • It was an idea nothing, more but love it how almost everyone didn't read the rest to get the point. The point is that perm ban and im some cases ip ban's don't happy that often, you would send 3 report tickets of the same guy with the same ign. Loses honorable soldier and yet to see him playing again 1-2 months down the road, im not putting blame to anyone and this thread was to expand what a hacker would receive for punishment to be more creative but seems like this isn't really a liked idea. I know ip bans would put a hole in the matter but it's not as easy as that of course..

there is a EASY solution to remove all cheaters from the game. i told about that solution many times, but game administration don't want to reduce quantity of cheaters in game.
your suggestion is a way to legitimate cheating in game. So, i don't see any reason to approve it here.

current situation with cheating at CFNA: Kanadian and other members of administration try to use BGM-109 Tomahawk against pack of mosquitoes. Maybe, sometimes they can hit mosquitoes, but now mosquitoes rules CFNA.
