I assume the carbw0w/Ant and getbrikt/underground matches are being disputed due to weapons allowed, is the Obliteration smurf team being disputed? Daniel put all the evidence in the other thread and they were still allowed to play

No idea how ours are disputed, we checked with Kanadian the day before that we were using the proper ones ��

Either way, I'm glad the GMs are taking time to look over disputes thoroughly

That's the thing, it was posted in a thread. All disputes need to be properly sent through a Ticket.

Both carbw0w and getbrikt broke the rules, there shouldn't be an "investigation".The rules clearly say "Only the official CFS 2016 weapons will be permitted." And both teams knew it, even if they didn't its their fault for not being aware. Literally no teams other then these two had a problem using an illegal weapon. If this was any other team they would've instantly be dq'd. They both knew the rules and are trying to say "oh we didnt know which one was 2016 ak". It's funny because they were all in CFCL Pro Season 1 and used that weapon before. Even though they are both top teams they broke the rules and thats a dq. Make the correct decision otherwise the whole competitve scene will riot.

I can't speak for Carbw0w, but

getBrikt only used 2016 CFS weapons. We checked with the admins the day before (Saturday, with [GM]Kanadian) as to which guns we could specifically use. We were informed at that time that CFS 2014 weapons were not allowed.

We knew exactly which ones were the 2016 AK47s. We used them. Every year I double-check, and triple-check with administrators that I am following all rules accurately.

You didn't use CFS 2016 guns, which is why you haven't been moved on. The balance guns are the 2016 weapons, everyone knows that. Which is why no other team except you and carbwow had issues. And these are our "top teams" can't even follow rules.

getBrikt have not been moved on due to an open dispute against our team, which the GMs apparently will post about later in the week simultaneously with the other open dispute (rather than providing multiple responses about multiple disputes). Again, our team only used CFS 2016 equipment.


Edit: It may clarify for you, but per [GM]Kanadian only weapons labeled "CFS 2014" were the ones not allowed in CFS this year. The color of the weapon logo, while similar to that of the CFS 2016 (not to be confused with the CFS Balanced variants) are clearly distinguishable.

Edit2: I should make a comment, that CFS weapons from before 2014 (I don't remember if there are any) are not allowed either. But, players were not given any in either CFCL or CFS. Just want to give you a heads up for that loophole, in case a random account still has CFS stuff from 4 years ago haha.

It's funny cause you and carbwow are the only ones who didn't use the balance weapons. It's cool though Just know how hard the e8 community will be ****ed if you and carbwow are allowed to pass. Rules were broken, something needs to be done about it without any hesitation.

10 Bullet Awms and Blue logo weapons that reload faster than the balanced (2016 cfs weapons) were not given out to everyone. The guns given to everyone that weren't in CFCL Elite were the 2016 CFS weapons ( red logo, delayed reload and 5 bullets awms). Any other weapon that was used other than those, were not allowed. Sorry man. You guys did not use the 2k16 Balanced weapons.

I honestly feel bad for Carbw0w, since the rules were so confusing right beforehand. We were lucky that Kanadian was able to clarify the rules for us, but Carbw0w got blindsided by this.

Kanadian posted on the forums last week that CFS 2014 weapon would be allowed (in reference to CFCL), and then they edited the CFS rules to say that only CFS 2016 variants would be.

I don't know who's to blame -- the rules changed, but as players Carbw0w should always keep up to date with them -- I can only say that our team got lucky that Kanadian could clarify the day before.
