Why the hacks aren't patched yet? It's been months and it's getting worse and worse to the point that half of the players in a room are hackers. When you run a theater, do you expect to have your theater full when more than half of your theater's seats have somebody's turd on them? I know it's a 'crappy' analogy but you get the picture of your game's current condition. If it were not for events giving out ribbons, people wouldn't even bother wasting their time in a game in which all you can do is be cows for hackers.

This is still heaven compared to how it was in 2011/2012. But yeah, the number of hackers has increased lately.
No it has come to the same situation as it was during that time. First they ruined FFA and HMX and now because the hacks have not been patched for months they are now starting to invade SnD and TDM matches as well. If half of the room hacking in each of the game you play is heaven to you, then there's nothing I can say. I played around 20 games today, and there was NOT ONE room where there weren't at least TWO hackers in each game. You guys need to walk out of your bubble and stop paraphrasing this bs that everyone keep saying. -

My first account was from 2011, and comparing this hacking era to 2011, 2011 was much much worse. -

My first account was from late 2008, from closed beta, I saw this game transition into open beta in January 2009, I've been seeing hackers on and off in this game since March 2009. There have been hackers in this game always since it's public release. If you think that hacking situation was worse in 2011-2012, you say that cuz you don't even know how it was during 2009-2010. There were literally hacks that allowed you to kick people from opponent team. There were hacks that allowed people to change their m16 into any rifle, awm into any sniper, m60 into any mg they wanted.
But the point is that the current situation has gotten out of hands now. And what's worse now than before is that current anticheat is even lamer than xtrap. Hell I remember xtrap used to get patched every month or so, disabling all the hacks and causing hack creators to spend good amount of time to find new vulnerabilities and create new hacks each month. Nowadays hacks last months without getting patched. -

I remember people running around with a knife which they hacked into an xm8, which wasnt even released at that point. Fun times -.- -
They should add an in-game report system where you just press "esc" + "report player" + "hacking" and if a person gets reported x amount of times they get an appraisal by admins to see if they actually
used any hack files or not.
Another thing they could do is remove this rule of protecting the hacker's privacy.
I really don't understand this logic, if there is video evidence of someone blatantly hacking, then how is it a hackusation?
Something that i had in mind is to create a group outside of the official sites where people can gather and share video evidence of people hacking which the others then can all use to mass-report said hackers
to increase the chances of them getting banned.
Even though that could get abused, what do you think of this idea? -

Idea isn'tt bad but thing is a huge majority of the cheaters I run into are low ranks and imo it seems pointless to report them, they even know how flawed reporting is I run into a few cheaters with the same ign followed by a different number especially in HMX. I don't know but I honestly think they need to come up with some verification steps like said in another thread about newly created accounts because at this point reporting a freshly made account is useless.
I get no hackusation but what's the point of protecting a newly made account which sole purpose is to cheat doesn't really make sense. Word basically means to accuse one of hacking, it's not accusing when you have 100% proof and they choose to expose themselves in game so that rule is misused. -
I've said it before and I'll say it again, dedicate a server that only allows Captains and over to enter, or allow the creator of a match to select the minimum rank that can enter that match.
It wouldn't solve the hacking problem, but let's get real for a minute, it's been close to 9 years and there are still hackers, hence the chances of this game ever being hack free are zero. -

Actually that rule is valid. Would you want someone creating a thread with your name accusing you of hacking when in actuality you were just playing good and the accuser assumed you were hacking? No one would want that. That's why that rule is in place, and it's kind of a standard rule in any gaming forum out there. So nothing wrong with that.
What's wrong though is the lack of technical competency which should be shown from the people responsible for keeping the game as much hack-free as possible. It's not our fault that we expect them to be vigilant about keeping their game wholesome to some degree. -

Makes sense, but what he mean't I believe is the blatant part because no legit player can knife that fast, move that fast or fly. But whatever it's the same you voice your opinion they let thread die out and repeat nothing changes. -

Again, imagine what would happen if creating threads pertaining to specific players' hacking were allowed. All you'd see everyday is countless threads of hackusations on forums. Though this could be prevented by having a subforum where you can post threads of hackusations. But even then it would be pointless to have those kinds of threads as there are hundreds of random accounts being made everyday for hacking purposes, so there isn't really any sort of benefit one may have by creating hackusation threads. -

That's something that's also bothering me.
I've been trying to create an alt account for awhile now in case something happends to my main but it says "this machine has reached a limit" or smt.

Ye like sasuke mentioned before, i meant those that are 100% obviously cheating with video evidence.
And they should create a sub-forum where people can post their video evidence there, even if they create new accounts, there should be a limit.
If they created to many accounts and all of them got removed then they would have to either make accounts using a 3rd party program and risk getting detected and then eventually banned,
or find another pc with which they can make the account.
And if they don't have one then they will have to buy one which costs them money.
^point of this is that they might lose interest after awhile and get annoyed with having to create a new account everytime their accounts get banned.
I still stand to my suggestion of creating a new in-game report system, since reporting is a lenghty process and you need to save the replay which can impact ur fps if you have a lower-end pc.
But at the end of they day, we don't have to bother doing all of this nor is it up to us to look for the solutions. The developers should upgrade their anti-hacking system or look for a new one.
It's their job and their responsibility. The results make them look very incompetent and un-proffesional, and if they can't handle it then sorry for being blunt but,
They should just resign or get fired and go look for another job. -

I can asure u that i played before they were any events , rewards or ribbons. And i will play as DarkArtz stated in another thread "until game dies".
My account was created in march 2009, and i remember that at that time even if we had a few hakers arround, they was very far from
disturbing other players like they did in 2011 or like they do in the last period.I remember too about xtrap patching and cooldown periods
free of haks just after they us,e to patch xtrap.
Like someone said, there is a thread in suggestions (i cant post link now cause im on phone, but u will find it if u want, is named " specific achievements...... "), where was suggested to make a server or more where new accounts have to gain there rights to be by achieving
5-10 ribbons and pass a probation period of 6 months free oh any hak accusation or report, and until now i think this
could be maybe the best thing for us if implemented.

This^ Sounds rude but it is true. -
We're not here to compare which era was the worse. The game is completely dying due to these hackers and something needs to be done ASAP.
After I wrote this I logged in and played with 2 hackers, speeding, speek knife, aimbot, etc. Off to Paladins I go. -

Exactly. I don't get what people are trying to achieve by bringing up "it's not as bad as 2012" bs everytime someone complains about hacks. Maybe you aren't playing enough of the hack-infested modes to claim if it's worse or not. If having minimum 4 hackers in each hmx game you join is not bad then there isn't even any point in argue with that type of illogical mindset some people have. Lastly I've been having this urge for quite some time now to just create an alt and join the hackers and have some fun speeding around the maps. It isn't as if these hacks are going to be patched soon anyway. -
I think the only real way to get rid of hackers is to actually mech ban them. Z8 says they mech ban people, but either their detection software is trash or they just don't because by far the most hackers on CF are on alts/throw-a-way accounts and they blatantly cheat because they don't fear a ban on their main or in a way that they would be unable to create a new account and start cheating all over again.

SGW swimming on money, players swimming on hackers. If everyone stopped buying ZP, you'd see how fast they'd start trying to get rid of hackers. -

I've stopped buying zp cuz I can see this game has no future if it keep going the way it currently is.I think the only real way to get rid of hackers is to actually mech ban them. Let's look at all the possibilities here:
1: Machine ban - Banning individuals by blacklisting their PC's mac address. To be honest I don't think they machine ban people. Like you said, first of all the hack needs to be detected along with the mac address for it to work. Seeing that hacks as old as 8 months are still going on, this option is useless. But if they did somehow start recording peoples' mac addresses and started issuing machine bans, this could become the best solution for keeping them out for good.
2: IP ban - Ban's players' IP address so that they can't log in. Almost everyone knows about certain programs that allow you to change IP addresses, so this is useless. Also many people by default have dynamic IPs that change every time they reset their modems.
3: Reporting - It's useless because people use throwaway accounts to hack, and can create new ones in matter of seconds.
4: Anticheat - It's a program that checks the integrity of game files on each launch, and prevents the game from starting or issues ban to accounts if game files are modified upon launch. A working, frequently updated anticheat is currently the only viable solution to our current hackfest. Too bad it doesn't work like it's supposed to be.
5: CFPolice - A group of people whose purpose is to catch as many hackers as possible per day and report them to support. Support views their reports promptly and give out machine bans, ip bans etc to the people reported in this way.
6: VIP server - A server where only VIP owners can enter.
7: Rank-restricted server - A server or where only players of certain rank and above can play. -
Last game in a room with 5 cheaters, it's funny how I got three errors one after the other simply just because I transformed into a mutant but people knifing fast and flying onto parts of the map where normal players cannot reach without getting a single error... cf logic. Was tilted wanted to just post a video but noticed they'll act 100x faster to removing that video instead of banning those low rank accounts.
There have been various suggestions stated in the past and lately but nothing gets changed. -

It was actually 6. One of them just kept crashing and quit joining after a couple rounds. -
People can go on and on, make threads expressing their opinions but it's the same every damn time thread dies out nothing changes until some other poor soul makes another similar thread weeks later. Does that not bother you at all? I get there is certain things that you can and cannot do but I don't understand... these cheats have been out for this long. It's getting frustrating playing with multiple cheaters in a single room. I just hope you get more strict with your rules regarding cheating on an alt, they act and type as to nothing can touch them would be nice to see if they have a main to ban that too.
The only this shows about the anti is how awful it is since all these cheats are free and accessible just by a simple google search but judging by how long it's been it also shows the lack of care given when it comes to the game security. -
I wonder if it's either the server issues that prevents the developers from doing server validation or the developers are really incompetent.
Server validation is the only way to stop cheats. I suggested this before and I even tried to explain what it is to people, but the community don't understand a single thing about computer science and shot it down.
Also don't rely on people to do patrols to catch cheaters. That's just ineffective, but a lot of people just seems to keep throwing that absurd idea out there.
I've seen people go on power trips before, and it won't be long before people just start power trip during their patrol because they've been beaten.
tl;dr
Server validation is the only thing that works. -

I'd pick incompetent. Modes like FFA(knife)/HMX are becoming unplayable no clue when something will change, but as usual thread gets pushed back and back until it's forgotten.
