Question about EP Crates

Why is it that one EP crate costs more than another when on the BlackMarket they are both the same amount of ZP? Example: Hellfire crates are 1,000 ZP in the BM and 2,000 EP in the shop while AWM-Magma crates are 1,000 ZP in the BM and 4,000 EP in the shop.

What are the prices based off of..???

EP comes from events meanwhile Zp comes by purchasing only so it is normal that the same crate costs more EP more than zp .
For example : an event earns you 50k EP if u completed it can it be compared to 50k zp purchased ?

That's a good question, I've wondered about it too. I noticed every gun that qualifies for the Arms of Fire ribbon are more expensive than others :c

I think becouse this weapons in crates counts for collection, so price hight. And more rare weapons have hight price.)

prrety much that, but u gave me an idea, what if someone collects ep for an entire year , from all events and all weekends that gives ep for playing,

Yep, they sure could try. Actually all my EP has gone into these crates and so far nothing >.<

You miss the point. I am asking what criteria it is based off of that would make two crates of equal value in zp different value in ep. I understand they are different, I want to know why. Why is it that one crate is 1000 zp and also 1000 ep while a different crate is 1000 zp and 4000 ep.

I think , some weapons are rare and they don't want to leak it with everyone .
