A new Idea that would make maintenance time better ?!

so hello Guys And Welcome again ..

my idea is : why not make the maintenance in a pre chosen day ?!

like choose any day from the week and make it always for the maintenance time ...

for ex :

you choose Friday...

then in a specific time in Friday you should do the maintenance ...
and if there is another update make it on Friday ... and again and again ~


in my opinion this method can be very good for many players that suffer from getting Random Errors and Getting out of the game without knowing that there is a maintenance !!

Maintenance announcements are always made well in advance, and don't they already fall mostly on Tuesdays/Wednesdays?

Content Maintenance ALWAYS happens on Tuesday Nights/Wednesday mornings. and happens every 2 weeks almost always. So the next maintenance time will hit at September 19th and servers will go down at 11PM EST that night. That being said they usually announce them only a day or two in advance....but they are VERY predictable when they'll occur. It's only every once in awhile when they don't fall on that 2 week period but for over a year now content updates have always occurred on Tuesdays.
Once in a great while they will hold an actual maintenance for a server or servers and they generally do announce that a day or so ahead of time. And in the case of that...I don't care which day it is so long as it's announced at least 24 hours ahead of time. I'd rather them address the issues rather than go 'oh hey we can't do maintenance today cause it's only monday and we told them we'd only do it on Thursdays!'.

Now if you're referring to when a server crashes and you're in the server lobby again and that server says 'Maintenance' that's an automated thing there. That has nothing to do with them going 'oh hey let's do some work on NA1 out of the blue'. That's the server crashes and it's running an automated process to bring itself back up and probably send a report into the logs.
