CF CLIENT ERROR Code Number: 31_9

I WANT A SOLUTION after The Patch was finished I opened the game and Whenever I get into a game I get a CF CLIENT ERROR CODE NO, : 31_9 Then Finally I got a 1 hour Ban Whithout any reason This problem faced me and faced even my Friends, I want a Solutioo=n For This Problem I wanna make the Event TIME IS RUNNING P.S: I tried HMX,S&D,TDM and everytime I get the same error

Please reinstall the game and the error should be fixed. Others have tried this and reported that it had fix the issues for them so please give it a try!

Follow these steps in order to reinstall:

1. Control Panel -> Z8Games -> CrossFire -> Uninstall CrossFire.
2. Open Up My Computer.
3. Delete the CF directory (Program Files/Z8Games/CrossFire/).
4. Delete the CF directory (/Document/CrossFire/) (Make sure you backup any screenshots or replays you may have before doing this).
5. Disable your anti virus.
6. Download the newest client from our downloads site.
7. Install the game from the new download.
8. Add the entire crossfire folder to your antivirus exceptions.
9. Re-enable realtime protection.
10. Start CrossFire as Admin.

I wouldn't advise that since it will just cause more problems. Please stick to the original plan

[Mod]Abel i ran the setup without uninstalling the game and it ran without errors but i have the game on C folder and on D folder
I just want to know will i get banned if i changed the VERSION FOLDER properties into read only?
Plz send me a screen shot of crossfire folder properties and for Version file properties as when i had the error i followed a mod steps and changed Version file properties into read only [there wasn't a tick on read only or on hidden] so i ticked on read only and tried to open the game but i had also the error so i restored it to default as it was before
The question is when i restored to defaults a permission was asked so i accepted and i am afraif that the game might think i changed a file and give me a permanent ban.

You won't get banned if you changed the version file into 'Read Only'. This shouldn't really matter but I have mine as 'Read Only'.

What I have been told is that a fix has been applied but in order to ensure that you have the fix, you need to reinstall the game. Once you have reinstalled the game, you can continue playing and you won't get a ban.
