Why GSG9 is black?

You read the title and I always wondered why GSG9 is black in this version.

Now, before you jump on me and call me racist, this doesn't have to do with a character being black in the game. I don't have any problem with different looking people. For example the Navy Seal character being black skinned would make very good sense since vast amounts of different colour skins are into the US army. But in Germany, from where GSG9 originates, people are mainly white skinned, so it doesnt really makes sense in my eyes. Look it from another point of view: Black GSG9 is like having a white blonde with blue eyes Japanese Forces character. Makes zero sense to me.

Once again this has nothing to do with racism, read the post please.

He is black, because he is black.

its some black people in Germany, maybe they picked a black person to be a model in this game.

This went sour in a previous thread as well, so indeed, just like said above, he's black simply because they made him so. Creative freedom is quite a nice thing in any medium.

A better question would be what characters like fox or sable are doing in a MILITARY THEMED shooter. Same with the vip chars.
Atleast the GSG9 fits the game (or atleast what it used to be)

I think tsip is asking for a sense of realism lol. I can see where he's coming from. But we're tackling this, why do all the female characters look like strippers? They're fighting a war damn it, it aint a strip club.
