Well I just tried this option and it didn't work. Can a GM confirm I have to reinstall lol because that is quite the process. -
The same thing Failed to download patch fileWell... I'll make this simple, I've been looking for a reason to quit, if the patcher doesn't work, I'll uninstall for good.
Follow the following steps:
1) Open the CrossFire Folder.
2) Find the file called "patcher_cf.exe".
3) Right click it.
4) Choose Run as Admin.
See if that works. -

patcher_cf is pinned at my taskbar for years now and i'm always running the game through it, however, I'm getting the same error like the others, so no it won't work
