Frame drops and stuttering
I have been experiencing perpetual frame drops and stuttering while playing Crossfire. I have a good PC so Crossfire has no business dropping frames on my build.
My specs are:
GPU: R9 380 4GB
CPU: FX-4350
RAM: 8GB DDR3 PC3 12800
Has anybody had the same problem and/or give me ideas for potential solutions? Thanks

CF is very badly optimized. If its possible I'd suggest trying to install crossfire on a different drive than your OS. Preferably an SSD (that fixed my freezing and stuttering for the most part)
Also, cf is mainly cpu intensive. So dont expect your gpu to compensate for anything, Its almost completely up to the CPU. -
I'll note in addition to what nGhost stated that you should make sure any and all drivers are up to date. When I first got my new laptop and put CF on it, i'd have massive FPS drops talking 200 down to like 16. I eventually realized I had some updates available for my drivers, particularly my Nvidia one, and updated them. Once I did that I stopped having the massive FPS drops. Still jumps around more than any other game i've ever played...but reasonable now. Once in awhile those come back when I need to update a driver again or if I'm trying to jump right into the game after booting up from a fresh start up.
