Why not make a captcha when signing up to avoid these bots? They also post on a certain time which is at night when all GMs and mods are asleep.

Seeing links and advertisements on the forums gives it a bad image so I hope you get on top of this situation.

But don't make captchas for every comment because that's super annoying.

+1 Some kind of captcha or random question when signing up will be a good idea.

Also email verification?

Does it not require verification to sign up? While I know that back in 2009 that wasn't a thing, I could of sworn you need to verify nowadays.

I'd be all for captchas to post for accounts with less than 25/50 Posts or something.
