Is FFA broken?

Don't really play it much but I was bored and decided to play one and pretty much I was dying instantly after spawning I know no one was cheating but it feels like my spawn protection isn't even there while other people have theirs for longer..

I don't know how long you were away for but cf updated the respawn invinsibility from 3 seconds to 1 second in FFA. This was like maybe 5-6 months ago, possibly more.
