Modifying Kill Streak Sounds

Just wondering if this is still allowed? I remember back in like 2010-2013 when the game was in its prime everybody used to do it. By 'this' I mean changing the "double kill" voice to something else, changing the end of a round sound, etc. Would probably need a refresher on how to do it too, haven't made my own sounds in years.

They killed all the fun stuff we were allowed to do. Honestly I don't see why it wasn't like it was hurting anyone by using custom killmarks. *sigh*

No ..Sadly you are not allowed to Mod any game Files !! That will Get you a Perm Ban ...A youtube Called Khai-Cf Na got banned for the same Reason !! He was a Big Money Spender on Crossfire VIP and Black market Stuff and he got banned for Just modding the kill marks !!

Because it specifically states that modding any game files can result in a ban, though I too wonder what the harm is.
I had them modified and changed them back the second I was told it isn't allowed.
That would be ridiculous, I have never used a hack and to be banned for something as silly as changing a sound file....
