Name change issue, please help!

Hi everyone, I'm not sure i'm using the right category but I think I am, I apologize if I am not.
Recently, I have really wanted this name and my friend agreed to change his name so I could have his IGN.
He has changed it and I was very excited to change it to his past IGN (name) but when I tried it said "Name is already taken".
I tried few hours later thinking it may have needed time to process but it still says the same thing. I am very confused, I bought ZP for the name change but it keeps saying it's taken,
does it process after 24 hours, or what's the problem? I'm very nervous.

Have you tried searching to see if someone else may have snagged the username? If no one has it, send in a support ticket

I did send a support ticket, I just wanted to know if your past IGN cannot be named by another person.

When your friend changed his name, for the next 90 days, he is able to change back to that old IGN. After 90 days, anyone can then take that IGN.

Basically, you need to wait 3 months before you can actually have that IGN.
