I don't understand

Hey everyone, I have a question towards the community and the GMs. It's actually saddening and a slap to the face when teams that don't even play the game come back for a week and get accepted to elite, but even more frustrating when those teams aren't even from your region, such as flipside, playing ducks, penta, etc. My question is how the hell does a team from russia get into our elite league??? HELLO? Are you just going to ignore all the teams that have been waiting for this? How could you even possibly do that, it hurts to know that you don't even care about satisfying your own community/version. Please don't close my thread for no reason, the community/our version deserves to know why you prefer teams from other versions, it's really sad and infuriating.

I'm sorry your team didn't get in this month Generally, we pick the teams we best think will represent the Elite league. This means teams from various parts of the world, but each member MUST have an account on NA. This means if they are from EU for example, they must be an old player with an account that predates the region block. To answer your question about the Russian team, this team has accounts from before that time. We have not ignored any teams. However, there are teams that are chosen, and teams that aren't. We simply don't have enough space in the Elite league for all teams As far as 'preferring' a team from another version, if you could do me a favor and tally up which teams have chosen which server as their home server, I would appreciate that.

I won't close this thread, because you're right, the community deserves to know things. So I will say that the teams that were chosen were chosen based on the qualities that we think best represents the Elite league. None of those qualities include angry forum threads, however.

How is that even fair then? This is the first official competitive event we've had in almost a year. You can't judge how teams will represent the elite league because there hasn't been any recent competitive events to judge from. Not an angry thread, I'm just saddened and disgusted about how you guys are looking into other versions and selecting teams from them.

Alright, thanks for the response and clarification. Communication from the GMs is definitely getting better. Also with registrations closing in a few days for CFS and Open can you please check the support tickets regarding the team roster changes.

@Creative_S +1 This is CF "NA" not CF "EU" nor CF "RUS". CF "EU" doesn't allow NA players to participate in their leagues, why should we? Why is it that you don't allow opportunities for new teams and experience teams? The fact that there are more than 3 team that shouldn't even be relevant to the CFNA scene shows that this isn't CFNA! #CFWORLDWIDE
It's really disappointing that CFNA teams have been waiting for the longest! Past 6 months after you guys said it would be announce soon! CFNA has loyal teams and played even when there were no scrims and you decide to pick up teams that never even touch CFNA? I get it you guys want to pick the most impressive teams as you guys stated in the CFCL Season 2 Forums. But the fact that you chose Harabas as a professional elite team is just insane!

Long story short, GM's you guys need to allow new teams and experience teams to have an opportunity to prove themselves. EU, RUS, ect. shouldn't be allowed in our version! THIS IS CFNA, please allow CF"NA" teams to show their talents and not allow other version come into our versions to win prizes. If that's the case you might as well call CFNA, CFWORLDWIDE.

Hey bro I know it's frustrating, but playing in the open league would be the best way to get your team name out there.

Thats a totally different side of the game. If we are basing off winning in open, we might as well have Chinese teams in this ;P.

Plus the GM's have no way of counter arguing my claim. As I have backed it up with reasonable evidence. "it is not all about shooting " - GM Kanadian But in the CFCL Elite forum it states the MOST IMPRESSIVE? doesn't talk about who has a bigger name and doesn't have a big name.

As they said they aren't looking for talent, but professionalism and teams that will represent them the best as in attitude and good sportsmanship. Also I think teams can agree to both play e8 rules.

I definitely agree with the GM's on this but why are other versions on our version you feel me?
