Someone crashing us.

Few mins ago, I was play a HMX game with my friend along with 14 other people in a full room, When a 3-starred rank guy joined in the 16th round and told us he will hack the room. And after the 17th round started, He made all of us get a "Failed to connect to server" and everyone was in lobby.

Please, kindly look into it, There's no way i'm just gonna play 16 rounds for this to happen at the end.

His in-game name is: <removed>

I couldn't save the replay due to that certain error that everyone got.

  • Hi there, unfortunately, you cannot make a post targeted at a specific person, so I have removed the IGN.

But rest assured the GMs are already aware of this person's actions.

Why shouldn't he be targeted? Wouldn't you be upset if you played an almost a whole game and then someone that's miserable with their life does this?

I doubt the GMs are aware of it. I'm pretty sure it's a new thing people do these days.
  • There is a forum rule about singling people out. While annoying when faced with such a character you can't do anything about it here but if record the game play perhaps and send it in.

The GM's are aware of this person's actions as it was passed up the ladder.

It's against the forum rules to 1) to make posts accusing people of hacking (and I believe that should include bug abuse), and also 2) to make posts directed at a specific user (which your post more or less was about a specific user). You didn't know, no big deal - now you do.

Yes, I played a game with him where he crashed the game. No, I wasn't as bothered by the fact that I played a whole game that he glitched; however, like you, I was aware he was disrupting gameplay and that many others wouldn't appreciate it. I managed to save screenshots, so I have proof of him saying he was intentional about what he was doing. I also saved screenshots of the lobby, where he basically boasted about what he had done.

So, I decided to do something about it, same as you. I reported those screenshots through the proper channels (for you, that would be a support ticket if you are going to give his name, or you could do so in the bug thread, if you were simply going to report the bug).

Multiple people have reported this bug (through support tickets) and on the forums (in the appropriate threads), so yes, they are aware.

I promise you they're working their butts off to fix this issue. I obviously can't prove this to you, but I don't think defaulting to a "I doubt it" mentality, helps. Agree? We're not here to silence you or turn you away, we're telling you exactly how it is.

    Apologies for the late reply.

I had already sent a ticket that day i posted this thread. Hopefully they've done something about it or will do something.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

Not supposed to bump old threads :P
Luckily they have now patched the issue, so it won't happen again.
