Just wondering if Cheating has gotten a big big decrease or am I just blind.

Woah woah woah I ain't trying to post a thread reporting someone or talking about having an recent match that had an hacker or something along those lines but rather I just wanted to ask is the hacking issues really that bad?

Now i've played this game for a few years and I remember things being seriously bad to the point that I couldn't enjoy a second of a match without someone flying across the match with aimbot but i've recently came back and things are alot more calmer than I remember it being with me even having fun just playing pubs on my ones and not having to kick a single person out of the match.

I am just wondering if I am just not really seeing people hacking because I am more remembering it being alot worse so how the game plays now is way better to the point that I am just not even thinking as deep I should but then I hear so many people reporting cheaters because of aimbot or walling and I just don't know if things have gotten better or people are just getting a bit more smarter hiding their ways of cheating.

I do play UK4 and a bit of UK1 so maybe this has something with my experience but I truely don't know so I am asking since i've been gone for like 2-3 years have things gotten better or I am just really really blind and need to start going back to wearing my Hacker Busting hat lol

Hacking-wise, I'd say it's improved. It's not perfect, I'm still finding hackers every few games, especially in Ghost Mode and Shadow Mode, but it's not 2012-Bad.

Most of the time in Shadow/Ghost mode I can still kill them anyway lol. They run at you with speed knife, and if you just stay in the open they don't have a chance to even get near you.

The reason being we can actually see they're doing something about hackers now. They're marking the hack reports as "Reviewed" and closing the tickets. It's probably the biggest deterrent we have at the moment. I know a lot of hackers I spoke with in the past said "Lol they don't even ban hackers so go report me" and such, but now it seems like we can prove they're doing something about them.

Out of roughly 26/27 people I've reported in the past few weeks, not a single hacker* has played since the ticket got closed.
*(1 player I reported for what I think was just a bug, but could possibly be a hack, but I wanted the GMs to check to be 100% sure, looks like it was just a bug lol)

Edit: The most prevalent hack is definitely speed knife. You'll meet a fair few of those if you play any knife modes. I have seen a couple of people in the past 6/7 weeks walk through walls, and those people seem to be able to use aimbots as well, but again, I've only seen a couple in around 2 months.

Ah, I see why I don't really see many hackers I hate Knife Modes since I actually never got to own an ZP or GOOD knife so I just stay far away from it haha but it's great to know that hackers are being taken more seriously than before cause I too can remember times when people wouldn't even care to hide it and they will even straight up say that they wouldn't even get banned caused no one cared but I have not seen someone act like that once so I guess I can say things have gone in the right direction hopefully things get more and more cleaner but for now I am happy to see that this game is nothing like how it used to be.

If I play 10 games, I would say 1 or 2 of those games will have a hacker that enters the room. Mostly seems to be aimbots. Still bad enough to be frustrating.
