How to avoid your account got stolen? Welcome everyone to post their experience

Hi to crossfire players:

There are a lot scams in crossfire. Most of them have really good account which make you think why will they want your account. They use free zp as bait. Don't ever falling into that. Sometime you may think they can't change your email so why not give a try for a chances for free zp?

Scammers want to scam your account because they want to sell your account for moneys. Most of them have really good account because they stolen that from other people or they scam account for money make their own account better.

How to my main account got stolen:
1. Hacker message you with pm in game
2. They said they want to buy you zp and they need your id and pw.
(Don't falling for that lies) (don't think about give it a try, they can't change email without your email)
3. First ask me for Facebook and say can't find your Facebook name
4. Then ask you just give him ID and password In game message
5. They now sent me thousands email on change email from crossfire support
6. Then they mes you in game that your password is wrong and login your account.
7. That make you want to change password back.
8. You open your mail and their is thousands email change mail with one password change mail.
9. You may mistake first mail is for Change password then you accidentally click link for change your email to his.
10. You lose your account to scammer
Most likely you either stop playing crossfire or new account to play

Don't ever give you account ID and Password to other. They know a lot different way to make you accidentally give your account to them.
Also people can gift zp with in game name
So if they ask for your ID or password then they are scammer!!!!

I always said, and I will say it again: "If you give your login info to others, you deserve to be scammed"

Even if it is your Dog that might be asking for your Password, simply do not give it out. That's foolproof security right there.

...As long as your Password doesn't equate to "123456", that is.

You should never share your account information with anyone. Also, don't download hacks or go to suspicious sites such as zpfree.w/e.com because even if those sites do/don't ask for your password, such sites or files may contain malware that could be used to steal your info as well.
You could use programs such as Malwarebytes or sites as virustotal to scan files/sites by the way.

I've had my account for 8 years and never got "hacked" or stolen. Just keep your information for yourself. Not even my closest friends, girlfriend or family members know my password so why would you share with a random "nab" that its clearly trying to scam you? People have to learn that nothing costs for free without a catch in this world :P

Sometimes, it's not enough to just insult them and then let them get away with it.
If i were 10 years younger then they might've stolen my account and i get really mad thinking about that.

THEREFORE what u do to scammers is: waste their time.

This was funny, I do the same to people who try to scam me but they don't understand english so i fail to troll them.

When i was 13(damn ive been playing too long) I downloaded a "ZP hack" and it said if I filled out all my account information clicked "Submit" I would get an M4 Tiger and 100,000 ZP deposited to my account in 24 hours. 24 hours later it was stolen. I was a dumbass

Never went to suspicious sites, never downloaded a thing, never shared my info, and my acc was just gone. When I got it back it had a bunch of rare weapons for 30 days.

All you need to know is that no random person in the game can just give you things for free it's just not how things work.

Simply put, if it sounds too good to be true, then it is.
Anyone who gives out their account information deserves whatever happens to them.

i think the best way to save your account is that what i did.

register yahoo.de email for your cf account.
register your phone number to the email account (for password resett)
type 3 times the false password into your email account till it get blocked.

that means scammers need my mobile phone to get the new password.

Never give anyone else your login details.
