RIP me
Well this is OneTrueMitch, and apparently since today my account was permanently blocked (for some reason) despite me not hacking at all. I'm currently seeing if I can do anything about this, but if not... Well, it's been a GG in my years as a CF player.

That's rather surprising.
Have you asked the Support as to why?
I sent a ticket just now, actually, as I just learned of it about 5 minutes ago! Im extra surprised, as I was playing all through yesterday until 9pm, but now all of a sudden Im blocked. I just hope its a mistake. -

Well, I wish you the best of luck in possibly recovering your Account. If not, you'll still be in our hearts, although that might not really be much consolation.*Update*
I'm blocked temporarily for chargeback issues... Well, Im off to settle this, and I'll reply on OTM if it gets resolved.
Oh, I see. Well, it shouldn't be too tough to get that sorted out. See you on the Battlefield! -
Chargeback help/advice?
So hey, if anyone knows how I can get this chargeback thing resolved, please let me know.
The support section seems very weird, as the only option I have for the chargebacks are credit card, paypal or other with nothing but a message section with no options to further explain what happened. The video for that is also hella out of date, and Ive no idea what else to do after I sent in that ticket. -

As far as I remember, you just have to send them pre-paid codes Upto the amount you owe.
Karma Koin, Paysafecards etc.
so for example;
Type the code; Which pre-paid card it is; The amount the code is worth
So like this;
****-****-****-**** Karma Koin $20
you can send multiple codes codes Upto the amount you owe and they'll unblock your account once the full amount is paid off. Any remaining $$ left over from pre-paid codes, will be deposited into ZP on the account.
They don't accept any other form of payment like PayPal or Credit cards (from what I remember but pre-paids are safer to stop it getting chargebacked again)
I hope this helps!
EDIT: I forgot to add, when you choose the chargeback payment option, make sure you choose "Other" and explain in the ticket that you're using pre-paid codes -

Good gawds this is ridiculous. I gotta pay off money I never spent for ZP I never got.
Thanks for the help though. -

I did... I think. It might have been when I bought the Barret Iron Shark. However my paypal is saying I charged for ZP on June 21st for 100k ZP, then asked for a chargeback, which I never authorized. Today, I got a paypal notif that something was wrong, and when I went on my summary, I saw that z8 deposited $79.99 USD a month after this supposed chargeback, and the money never actually went to my paypal wallet or bank account, so this money I'll be paying with is 100 extra of my Canadian dollars. -

So you did charge? and how do you not remember if you bought a vip or not?
What did the paypal email say exactly?
It's odd how there's a difference in currency if you're living in Canada. There would be no point in changing the currency, only if you somebody thought they could get cheaper ZP but they realized that's not how the market currency works.
Well the bank wanted the money back, Z8games gave its virtual currency in-return for your money, which was refunded. So somebody is in the fault.
You should really check your bank statements more often. -

I've bought a lot in this game, and I generally dont remember small purchases, especially if it was a month ago.
There is a currency difference, and it is done by paypal, so ____$USD for ____ZP will be converted to $CAD (and since the CAD$ is crap, Canadians spend a lot more for ZP).
Paypal just said there was an unauthorized transaction, and limited my account, and now I have to go through a lot of crap to regain full access to it.
Still, you might be right. It might be a bank thing. If that indeed turns out to be the case, I'll pay off the money that was refunded. -

79.99$ USD is not a small purchase. There isn't a currency difference. You live in Canada you use Canadian money, you purchase Canadian ZP. There's option for this. Where you go to purchase, you pick what amount of ZP you are trying to purchase and with what money. So why purchase ZP in USD if the currency rate is going to fix itself, (so people can't get ZP for cheap). If anything you might run into currency rate exchange fees.
I'm not too sure about this "unauthorized transaction". Whether it was you or your account was compromised. (Paypal, Z8games acc, Your browser account that has saved usernames/passwords for bank info). You should really tighten up your security on these accounts cause companies can only go so far to protect you with their policies. (To protect themselves from scammers)
You could literally go to your bank and talk to an adviser and settle this there. But Z8games doesn't negotiate with people from what I can tell. You took their money and you have to pay it back, doesn't matter if it wasn't you that took the money, it's under "your name/account". Your in good standing with your bank if you can prove to them that this chargeback wasn't anything suspicious but Z8games doesn't care about that, they just want to settle the transaction.
Sorry if I'm coming off as rude, I understand how precious your CF account is, I lost my main account years back and I regret it to this day. You really need to put more security on your accounts and take more/full responsibility for everything that is going on in your account.
Paypal is a middle man for online banking for certain transactions that don't operate directly with banks, in my experience they just slow the process of the whole transaction. But they are a necessary evil.
(Bought an Iphone straight from Apple online, Paypal "took" the $1,100 and sent it to Apple. Apple gave me a personal phone number for a live agent to call that will take me through the transaction like if I was at a store. Long story short, he said the transaction didn't go through and Apple didn't get the money, I check my bank account and I;m down $1,100. My bank said the purchase went through and that Apple is a trusted seller for obvious reasons. Paypal somehow managed to screw it up, had to wait a week for my money to come back to me so I could drive to the store and purchase the phone there.) -

Eh, I dont really have much self restraint and buying in USD is faster than buying in CAD. That part of me is to blame.
Still, it figures that the bank did indeed refund the transaction for some reason or another (on July 17th) for 109 CAD, so the different dates that were shown in my Paypal and banking info must have confused me.
I do change my passwords about once every 3 months (especially since my bank account was hacked a couple months back)
I've since then bought $85 USD in Karma Koins and have sent the codes via the chargeback ticket. -
