Will radio message return too gm?

I know this seem like a strange thread. After the last 3 patches I was waiting too see this bug will be fix. If anyone don't understand what I'm talking about.

example:
IGN:Bomb spotted(locations)

I no longer see that in the lower left of my screen now I see just

IGN:Bomb spotted( no locations)

I know this seem small but I'm so used too looking there too located c4/enemy quicker. Now I have too put the players ign in-game just too find the c4.
I was told I changed something but I don't bother my in-game settings. If anyone could help me thanks. I think I made this thread before but I'm not sure.

I don't have this problem in SnD,EM,Tdm. The only mode this bug shows up for me is Gm.

yeah i don't see location in GM either.
if this feature was removed purposely, then it was a dumb idea straight up.
if another player calls for bomb or an enemy, i don't know where they are because there is no location.
(checking radar is awful/distracting)
another thing is that you have to manually turn on the in-game names.

Honestly I find it more accurate to just check the radar. GR spawn could be anywhere, but if I can see my team mate on the radar sending a radio message on the ramp, I know it's closer to the ramp.

I'd like to see this return as well. It IS a bit helpful in terms of just knowing where your teammates are when they call out the bomb and other things. But I do rely on my radar/minimap more often. and usually play with names on too.

Its been a while since I played GM, I didnt even realize they removed that option

It happened on the 8th Anniversary Patch where they stated

Radio Message Improvements
Now when radio message are used, player locations will be displayed

While even before that player locations were displayed, and since that patch, you don't have player Locations in GM and the like anymore.

Its better off that way. Use ur mini map.

I use my mini-map too check the location of my teammate deaths. When your teammate do use an radio message. The flashing radio waves don't last that long on the mini-map. The mini-map is so small that its not possible too know the exact spot. Plus with locations shown I knew I had too be more careful entering that area.

Yeah, no. That requires more action than looking into chat, offering me more of a chance to get killed.
Pressing down and holding a key, whilst searching a large area on my screen, rather than using only my eyes.
Plus, the map doesn't even show up instantly which makes it even slower. (and disappears slowly)
I used to look at chat and know exactly where my team is.
Now I just guess, because the radar is irrelevant and the minimap is slow and distracting.
(and i would have to press insert)

Hold the tilde key down in-game. You get a large display of the entire map and related icons.
It isn't the radar. It's the minimap.

yea, I just tested it. I feel dumb never knew the mini-map and radar was different. But after seeing how the mini-map pops up in the middle of the screen. I can do without it. That split second I'm using searching the map. A bhopper could be coming my way.. But thanks for the info. And my bad G for thinking you were trolling. Seems like I'm still learning how too play this game

Lol. Maybe they should implement a share location option. I am not against having it back or not, its pointless to me. Also i think they took it off like 2 3 months ago
