Flawed Account System

I think after many tries to recover a stolen account and many attempts to recover an old April 2009 account that I have come to the conclusion that Z8 games has a flawed system. I have an email with every single peice of information needed to recover the account, but GMs tell me the account is not in their records. I showed them screen shots, even though they don't care about them, of said email, still the same response. So if they have an April 2009 account not on record than the account that I had that was stolen (Oct. 2009) must have screwed up records. I don't understand it. Ive legitimately tried every resource, every security question, every transaction ID, every email, every account creation date. I even provide the extra of my first in game name and etc. I would like an explanation as to why neither of my accounts can be recovered, or at the very least why I can't even have the slightest bit of help from the support team. I get you have policies that you must follow, but there has to be something else I can try. I know I have the right information. Im not making mistakes. It's not my fault that my account was stolen. It's not my fault that Z8 can't keep track of all the necessary information to help users who have sufficient information recover their accounts. I know I'm not the only one with this problem. As far as the ticket system goes. Are you sure it's not automated? The support hours say Mon-Fri 9-6.. Yet I get replys on a Saturday (Yes I'm in NA time). No it's not a delayed email either, I check the website regularly. I just want my account back GMs. I will keep sending mass support tickets with sufficient information until I get some results. Stop supporting a hacker, please, and help a legitimate player out.

  • I don't think this really needs to be said, but just in case: No one is purposefully trying to keep you away from your account. Support is not automated. And finally, I'm going to try to help here, but I need you to also cooperate with me (that means stop pointing fingers).

You mentioned that someone else is using "your" account. When was the last time you even logged on to that account? I quit for 3-4ish years and when I came back in 2016, all of my accounts were renamed to something like AAAAAA_123456789. Which means my old IGNs were fair game for someone else to use. I'm not sure when this happened, but maybe in 2015? My guess is that they did this so long-standing inactive usernames were automatically reset so active players could use it (I'm pretty sure they have advanced heads up about this, but when you quit for a long period of time like me, you don't really check Updates).

Basically, at this point, you could very well be trying to recover someone else's account, which is why you definitely haven't been successful.

If what I just said doesn't help you, then unfortunately I don't have any other ideas for why you can't recover your account. I suggest, before continuing to send Support more tickets including the same information, why don't you try taking a step back and try to think of how you could approach the content of the Support ticket differently? For one, a positive attitude adds a whole new perspective on even the most familiar situations.
  • I play periodically, at least once a month. Last time I logged in had to be either late May or early June. June 23rd is when I found out my account was stolen from me. I'm not trying to put blame on Z8 solely. I get it, I should have kept my information written down somewhere for a situation like this, but for a 2nd account to not be on record also just adds suspicion to me that maybe their record keeping could use some updating. I haven't played on the 2nd account for years and years. I can see why IGNs may be changed but Log-in IDs should remain, right? The information I send support isn't the same either, I do switch it up to what I believe could be the correct info, it's just hard to remember what I was thinking nearly 8 years ago. I appreciate your help, but it was not quite the help I was looking to receive. Just wondering what else I can try to recover a stolen account. I have even gone so far as to try and get the stolen account banned/suspended, but its looking like no luck so far. I'd rather have that happen than some hacker kid be playing on my hard earned account.
  • I was informed through PMs that the situation has been solved, so I will close this thread ^^

Congrats OP on getting your account back :3
