can't drop burning shot

Why can't I drop the burning shot gun? When I press G it says can't throw weapon away. I thought I used to be able to drop it, maybe they changed it? When I die someone else can pick it up so it's not like a VIP weapon.

Chances are you've got yourself a Zombie Mode change bag active in your inventory. If you can hit B and switch bags in the middle of playing ZM that's the case. You can de-activate those change bags in your storage if you need to.
