Fps drop?

What level of FPS drops are we talking about too? Are you dropping from like 200 FPS down to 15? Or is it like 140 down to 100?
Shortly after getting my new laptop I started having FPS drops from the 200 range down to 30 or below every so often in a match. At first i blamed CF and its clunky-ness. However, I soon realized I needed to update my Nvidia drivers. And once I did that my massive FPS drops went away. They only come back now when I need to update drivers again usually. -
I'm running on quite a beefy pc, so my regular FPS is 200, However, when I pick up/choose a weapon for the first time in game, I get a bad FPS drop for 0,3 seconds to 1 second.
The more complex the weapon is (for example the AK obsidian) the longer the FPS drop takes. when I choose a simple weapon like the M4 it takes waaaay less. -

Same here. Got CF on one of my SSDs and it doesn't make a difference at all. Switching bags multiple times at the start of a round works fine for me if I want to change weapons without lag later. -
From my point of view CF is CPU base game. Last year i changed my GPU, from a GTX 650 to RX 480. And i still get the same 200+ fps in game. The fps drops you experience is from CPU loads(maybe you have others background programs which consume/load your CPU). You dont need to invest into a SSD, just to play CF. A 7200 rpm HDD with 64 mb buffer is more then enough and a decent CPU.

And I thought my drive was failing -_-. Guess nothing can be done for this. I really hate it when that happens right before I'm about to get a kill. -

Oh really, I guess I need to do that because tbis happens to me too and I just blame CF lol. I'll try this -
Well when I first start playing I get around 120 fps then after about 15 min it drops down to 40 fps and never rises back up
For me I have always had 200 fps but after log in my first 2-3 games my fps drops to 80 from 200, it usually happens when I exchange crossfire with the enemy, after that im fine for the most part
