Game Blacking Out

Hey all,

I find at times my game cuts out mid game to a black screen for a few seconds.
It doesn't happen all the time, maybe once every few games.
It is not my system, which is pretty much top of the line, and it isn't my internet either. I was thinking maybe it might be a conflict with my anti virus, but wanted to know if this has happened to anyone else before I disable the anti virus for a trial run.

A couple years back I had issues with my GTX 770 where I was getting weird colours in CrossFire but nothing else, just needed to reinstall my graphics drivers.
I know you said it's not your system, but to me it sounds like a PC problem (Sounds like your graphics driver is crashing). Do you have the latest graphics drivers/version of directx? Does your entire screen turn off or does it stay on but just go black? Does it happen in windowed mode or a different resolution?
You could try plugging your monitor into your motherboard's outputs instead of your graphics card to 100% rule that out.

Also it doesn't hurt disabling your antivirus temporarily for CrossFire just to test it, so long as you remember to turn it back on afterwards :P

From what I see, I'm pretty much running the same system you are. I do have the latest drivers and directx, it happens in full screen mode, and my screen stays on, just goes completely black.
I will double check everything, as I am a firm believer that gremlins do exist and they love any electronics I own , but this is the only game where anything like this has happened to me.
