Ticket Support.

My accounts been hacked and the ticket Support system isn't able to help me out at all. All I get is the generic automated response telling me to make a new ticket and that they can't help me. Wtf... What kind of support is that. I wanna actually talk to someone who can help not just keep bein told to make a new ticket. What can I do in this situation to get help!?

  • Are you sure that you are submitting the ticket to the right department. If your account is hacked then you need to fill out the 'Account Recovery' form. This is under 'Account Administration'.

  • Yes. I am posting in the correct department. I've made a dozen tickets giving the information as well as several transaction made on the account. I even logged on and added to my friends my account that got hacked and spoke to the person who hacked my account and have screenshots of the conversation saying they "bought" my account but I keep getting the same copy and pasted response. CF doesn't care. I've emailed Smilegate about the situation a week ago no response next step will have to be calling Smilegate them since CF obviously doesn't give a crap about the people that pay to play their game.

    Considering u mentioned that they bought your account means you disclosed your I'd and password and hence is your fault.

    Secondly, if you are the true owner you should be able to recover your account from your registered email address.

  • Ha it's my fault that someone from Egypt was able to hack into my account and steal it.. Sounds about right.
    It was stolen. Never have I given my password or log in ID out to anybody.
    The account was created in 2009 so of course I don't remember all the information, I can take the blame in not keeping it updated, or I can blame the hacker and say that they were able to change the information. Who knows.
    All I know is that they should be able to have the capability of at least tracking IP addresses or investigating further into the situation considering I am a PAYING customer, but I suppose that's asking too much.

    And per the terms of service I have notified them (multiple times) with sufficient proof that the account was stolen. The least they could do is ban or suspend the account, but again.. Thats asking too much from Z8.

    It's asking too much if you can't prove the account was yours. If you can't remember all the details you used when you signed up, then clearly that's not sufficient proof. That's why you have to pay attention when setting up your security questions/answers and your e-mail. It's got to be something you'll remember. Also, as mentioned above, you should recover it using the e-mail. If you don't have it set to your current e-mail, then that's on you.
