At My Wits End

So today after being away from Crossfire since January I decided to hop on my CrossFire account and see what has been updated over the past few months. I load up the game and I am unable to login to my account. I tried logging into the Z8 site and still no dice. I search the CF profiles for my name and it doesn't come up.

After a few minutes I realize I still have the profile link on my twitch channel description from when I used to stream CF. So I grab the link and to my surprise the account has been stolen. My IGN is changed and they even bought ZP and VIP weapons. They even leveled it up. When I last logged in in January I was full-bird colonel, but now it is a Brigadier General. So I make an alt (this account) in an attempt to recover my account. I start to submit the ticket and I run into a few snags. First off I created the account back in 2009. At that time I was a senior in high school.

I have slept a lot and been hit in the head a few times since then which means I have forgotten everything about the account except the password and login. I know some details thanks to an exhaustive search of my main email which revealed in 2013 I switched emails since I have the email from Z8 telling me about the switch, but of course the email address I switched too in hidden and I have long since forgotten it. Honestly I never thought I would need it since I never thought I would warrant enough attention to get hacked.

So back to today I submit what information I guess is relevant and submit a ticket. I was able to fill out the transaction fields because up until Razer got into the ZP business I paid for almost everything CF related with the same paypal. I have financial records going back to 2013 with a ton of ZP purchases totaling over $1000+. Even with this explanation and a mountain of financial proof it still is not enough for them to give me back my account and I got turned down twice. No reasonable explanation or discussion just an automatic statement and my ticket deleted.

The evidence doesn't stop at financial records though. I have screenshots, videos, replays, and archived broadcasts on my twitch stream showing me playing the account. Oh and I am one of the people who submitted a selfie for the event to get the Scarlight-Black which I won along with two other friends who I convinced to enter.

I mean surely common sense would prevail in a decision just by the 100+ financial statements alone.

What more does Z8 need? I am more than willing to have the statements notarized and delivered by certified mail if it meant recovering my account.

So is Z8/Smilegate just going to let me lose my account that I put so much time and money into simply because I am human and can't remember the exact details of an account I made in high school nearly a decade ago?

Anyone want to do the math?
