GM Crates/GM Skins

So as you know we have these lovely GM Crates that are Generally given out during the GM Live Streams on Twitch. A lot of players have a simple complaint that there's nothing permanent inside of them and thus everything else is 'rubbish' to them. SO...I thought...why not something unique? They wouldn't really have to be permanent...though permanents would make for an epic collection.
So pretty much the idea would be to have each GM choose a weapon they like....then that weapon would be made to have a CF:NA/UK GM skin. (they GM's artists could come up with a nice skin that celebrates the GMs then each gun would be wrapped with that skin somehow OR each GM could have a special skin for their chosen gun...either way...**). Then each of those weapons would take turns being rotated in the GM Crate. If they were perms then you could do like 1 perm in the crate a month and rotate them around each month. If they're the 30 day temporary style then you could throw a few of them in. Regardless they'd be more unique than just a ZP Skin gun and would work GREAT with the GM Crates IMO.
So simple idea really....just making the GM Crate more GM like and unique.
(**i'd LOVE to see a Tomato grenade...just sayin... it's special effect could have the word 'SPLAT' showing up in a red splatter symbol when it explodes)

I'd personally would absolutely LOVE to see Z8Games Themed Weapon Skins in there.
It certainly sounds easier than making Weapons catered towards each and every GM, and they'd indeed be unique to boot. Plus, I like White and Orange.
As for things other than Kanadian himself not being permanent, I don't really mind them being so. Having them temporarily might give players incentive to come back and try and get some GM Crates again. -
It would be awesome to have a GM Kanadian themed balloon hammer or a Juicebox grande. lol
This would attract more viewers since these crates can only be obtained from the live stream. However, I can only imagine the spam in the chat. It's kinda hard trying to engage in a conversation,when every other person starts spamming for codes.

Yea I agree with what I highlighted in red there. It'd be easier to have a single skin type that covers the weapons the GMs choose than to have a skin personalized to each GM....but something about a skin personalized to each of them would allow for sweeter weapons IMO. But I bet if this were to ever get implemented it'd be a CF:NA/UK skin theme across all of the 'GM Skin Weapons'
As for the other points...I really do think even if they were temporary having these specialized skins, especially if they were on guns people enjoy, would help draw in more people to watch the Live Stream just to get the shot at getting these....but I bet the viewer count would GREATLY increase if there was even a single permanent in the crate. And if there was a permanent of these skins in the crate then it's not like people would stop trying for them as generally you only get 3 crates a stream if you're lucky and not everyone will get all 3 crates if any. Then for lots of people to win from just 3 crates is rare enough. So to then rotate the available permanent weapon every month or so would make it so it's always worth trying to get the crate.
The only downside, is as Reus pointed out....the spam factor would likely greatly increase. Which is unfortunate as there's two ways of combating that....slow mode or timing that player's chat out. slow mode is horrible for everyone and timing people out will make that person angry...but meh. Then you'd likely need a larger chat moderation presence or to add some stuff to Moobot's auto-filter stuff.
But for real. I think this would go over big for the live stream...so hopefully it gets considered. -

Also, it would be great to have a multi-day event where the rewards are the GM crates. Especially if the weapons are going to be Perm. For someone like me who is not available during the livestream times (and did not/cannot participate often during Weekly Forumers), I'd like to somehow try out these guns myself

+1 to the OP's idea btw. It would be nice to see any permanent weapon there. And it would change the usage of those crates, since now, because of they containing only temporary weapons/items, they usually tend to be saved up by players (or at least that's what I usually do). Although now that I think about it, if they rotate weapons every month, we only could have a chance for getting one of those weapons in 12 crates only (3 every friday for a month), unless we save beforehand from past months/weeks. That also will end up in that they would have to update the contents of the GM crate every month just for this rotation system. If they don't have problems doing that, then I guess it's fine. If not...I like the idea anyway, so it's a +1 for me overall.
