Exiting game sometimes makes screen go black?

This occurred a few days ago after getting my new computer.

I'm unsure rather if this is an game issue or a windows issue.

Sometimes when I exit CF, my screen goes black and stays black instead of returning me to my desktop. I've been having to manually end the .exe with task manager.
Once my screen goes black, I cannot do anything and I have to restart my computer entirely.

Has this occurred to anyone else or is it just me?

Let me know,

thanks!

Next time it happens I'll take a photo.

So does it happen randomly? Have you tired running CF as Admin before you start?

If you haven't already, next time your screen goes black, try holding the Windows key and pressing D. This combination should force everything to minimise and show your desktop. That, or Alt+F4, Alt+Tab, Ctrl+Alt+Escape.

It won't stop the black screen issue, but hopefully it will stop you having to force restart your computer.

I think I mentioned already that when this happens, my entire computer FREEZES and I cannot do anything.
I did try those other options to see if one would do something, that was a negatory.

I've looked up the possible diagnosis for this, and it's more likely a Windows issue and I have Windows 10.
My computer is brand new, everything is OC'd except for my RAM. Which doesn't need to be OC'D.

It could be from the CPU being OC'd or there's a memory leak somewhere, I don't know.
For the amount of money I've spent, this is the only game that causes this issue.. So then again it can be a game issue. That's where I'm lost.

I have to manually exit the .exe using windows task manager which completely overrides the problem. So, I'll just have to do that from now on.
