I mean....I get it...if I won a tournament and thought I was getting something exclusive i'd be saddened too. But like Grumpy said, I don't think they ever stated it would be exclusive. But like said elsewhere before...the signatures themselves are kinda unique...no one else has a signature like that. (though I know that's not any kind of consolation for you lol)
And....it's not like you put in all that time and wanted to win the tournament for exclusive signatures though either. lol -
well, even though i know it's unfair for u guys.
ur still being quite selfish by asking them to remove everyone else's sig.
i mean, posts look really nice this way.
and if they ever do get removed then when people see ur sig they're not gonna watch it in awe, but with hatred. -

Cherry picked? As if that pm isnt enough? Regardless of whether or not it came after the tourney, its my prize. Why do you feel entitled to my tourney rewards? -
how's that cherry picked lol it fully explains that only the 6(or 18 if you include 2nd and 3rd) were supposed to get it. and it wasn't a thread it was through PmsPretending that's why you practiced so hard to win the tourny is a joke that's almost as good as our servers on the weekend.

so wait...you screened a PM which doesn't even show who you were talking to as evidence? I mean, i don't doubt it was a GM and what not. But LOL. So where's the FORUM TOPIC/Official announcement that says you guys were going to get exclusive picture signatures? Surely you can provide that to back up your claims. And if you honestly trusted what was said through PMs and not officially announced I feel extra bad for you.

Who's to say, without actual visible evidence to say otherwise, that a later comment in the thread/discussion didn't say 'sorry, we can't provide pic signatures to JUST the winners due to some issue. However, we WILL be able allow picture signatures for everyone and give you the ones we designed for MotG 2017'.
And would you honestly tell me that if the ability to use picture signatures suddenly popped up for everyone you wouldn't use it even if you weren't in this group of winners that supposedly got promised it was going to be exclusive to them? -
You are making it look more ridiculous by continuously complaining about it. [GM]Grumpy's point is valid. If they had announced this exclusive prize before the tournament, then you'd have all the reason to complain. Since they decided to give you special kids some candies after the tournament, then thought it'd be better if all other kiddies of the forums got candies as well... Well, stop being selfish. Kids love candies.

You guys rarely even use the forums except to say GM is dead or pick up another infraction plus the sigs are worthless anyways. Get mad when they release your gold axe as a crate instead of a not so exclusive signature. -

Lul its kinda sad to see such a discussion about pictures on a forum. It's like the people that had issues with the MP shop all over again; some things are becoming less sacred and there is little to be done about it unless the GM's decide otherwise.
I think it was a great move to keep the sigs (even if it ends up being temporarily) as it means more forum users get to express some sort of individuality with their online profiles.
Complaining this hard to feel special on the forums seems childish af to me. Its like having your picture drawn for you by someone as a reward, but then telling others they can't have their pictures drawn by the same artist because, unlike them, you won something to earn it. -
What about the winners keeping their signatures, but letting all forumers have a small picture, say, no higher than 50 pixels or something? That way everyone gets an image, and the winners of the tournament get their larger image, which makes them stand out?

I don't see why not. On other forums I used to moderate, you could create multiple user groups with different restrictions. (We can leave the specific pixel for non-MOTG up to the GMs of course.)
If this is that important to the MoTG winners, then they should be open to compromise. -

This again? For someone who didnt cared about having alot of forum accounts banned for doing what you know best you sure suddendly started to "care" about your forum account. So except for PizzaFrozen which posts all over the forums, you aint seeing any other signature.
And the Motg sigs are still unique, noone else but the motg winners have them. It's not like you saw someone writting his name over a motg to have all this useless complaint again for the above reasons ^
Your prize was the motg signatures, noone else has them, grow up already or at least start using the forum more to actually make use of those signatures because atm its like having a expensive painting hidden in a corner where noone sees it. -

if i won that tournament and got 2 dank permanent weapons then i wouldn't care at all if i didn't get to be special-looking on the forums.
like i said when people see ur sigs after all the others get removed, then noone except for ur little group will like it and it will serve more as a sign and reminder

As previously said, the GMs added the exclusive made sigs after the tournament was over and it wasn't in the original prize list. This was an extra bonus if anything and that fact that you guys got the sigs made by a GM is pretty exclusive. Do you see anyone else with GM made sigs? I don't think so.
My advise would be to move on and be happy with what you have. The GMs didn't have to give you the exclusive sigs but it was done as kind gesture. -

They were made by a member of our team that does banners, patch page setups, etc. So if anything, you got a signature that was planned by the GM's you see, requested for approval from the team leader, given the OK, sent to the other team as a request, given the OK by their head, designed, approved by their head, sent back to us, approved, completed, and then added to your profiles.
At this team we have decided to leave the signatures up as there have been very, very few instances of people abusing it, and even then those instances were mostly people with signatures who were too large. -
