ranking up in ranked

So........how do you actually rank up in ranked. Do I simply achieve more kills?win matches? or is it something else entirely? (not that this is super plausible at this point with all the hackers) It would still be good to know thanks.

You rank up with wins. You can have a 40-0 score but your team loses the match, you'll derank. Likewise you can have 0-40 score but your team wins the match, you'll rank up. Of course, if you win a match with more kills and less deaths, your rank bar will fill faster. So simply put, you'll rank up if you win the match.
