WEAPON parts

I have been playing CF since 2008 and I remember that in that year or maybe 2009 there was some kind of weapon parts system that never started and later it was removed...Can someone tell me what happened with that? Or Do you know if that system is used in another version of CF? I can not remember how it was cos my english wasn´t very good in that time...

It used to be in the old black market, when the only available ZP crates were AK-Scope, M4-Custom and Kriss Vector. Altough, I pretty much forgot about how it worked.

Lol same. But I'm really curios about this thing since I dont remember anything about a part system in CF. Only people suggesting it along the years

The UI was in place for it but there was no functionality.

It was part of the Black Market system and I guess the plan was that you could win gun parts from the capsules then craft them together? That's a wild assumption though.

i remember that... I guess it never happened. Instead we got the m4a1 custom but I think the scope and silencer was the "parts". Imagine putting the scope and silencer on any gun? I think I remember the different skins were supposed to be in the parts thing too .... and maybe they realized more money could be made by just re-skinning the same guns.

I think there will be something like that in the mp shop but not really, just upgrading, not parts.

Was this a temp test option during the closed-beta test of this game? Cuz I started playing this game when it was in its closed beta and even I don't remember if there was such a thing like that before. I must have forgotten or I must have been off for a period during that time. I do remember that we were given a bonus of some percentage of extra GP for some days right before transitioning from closed test server to an open beta state.

Yes, you are right...That was in Black Market...

It was removed quickly, but if I remember right, you were able to "craft" yourself an M4A1-Custom once you got all the parts.

It was the assemble parts thing, probably removed because coupons already existed.
The weapons that you could assemble were in coupons already, if I remember.
