Hackers Who Change IGN after Replays! What Happens?
Okay the Famous Hacker in Ranked which we have discussed many times here on the forum has now Changed his IGN.
The Question, What happens to the replays we sent in with his old IGN? is this now a way for hackers to escape Punishment!
The Player which I refer to GMKanadian has banned his 2 Star General Account on the day I contacted the GM, however this player has an alt which we have discussed 99% same IGN as his main just the symbols are placed different places and his alt was Colonel 2 class.
The issue is his main was banned within a day but his alt remains unbanned, it has now been 20 days since I and others reported his Alt account before Season 3 ended. However his alt was not banned, my case remains open and he continued to hack in Season 4 and is now Platinum Rank GG. To top all that, he has now changed his IGN, so what does that mean for old replays?.
Does this slow the proccess in reviewing and handing bans even more, if the replay is in the IGN name but no longer that IGN.
How do I know who he is? well the good thing is, I saved his Profile when I submitted the report 20 days ago and now show last logged in 1 day go with new IGN. If a GM would like me to PM them more information, feel free to PM me.
I would like the GMs import in this and feel free to look at my latest replay, that is the player in question but beware he has changed the IGN.

They said before changing name doesn't matter they will still be able to trace them so I guess that answers that. About finding what his new ign is if you have a screenshot of his profile and the URL is visible you could copy his profile number i'm sure that doesn't change (crossfire.z8games.com/profile/......), I tried it with a clan and it worked so I assume that will work. Plus without doing any of that I can take a logically guess on the rankings and find out who he is by looking at the familiar names on the rank and only one new name that's pretty high up there that wasn't there before with previous rank games. =]
And those clans they get accepted in majority of the clan are full of marshals who get boosted by cheaters like him and should get some type of punishment if it's proven, it's what he did last season in his old clan and he's been cheating for so long it's not even funny. -

Yep, you guys are correct in the fact their Profile number identifier still remains the same, thats how I detected his new IGN, saved profile. However in our report system we dont put anything but IGN and the fact that this person still remains after having acknowledgement from a GM that it will be taken care of do not worry that's like 20 + days ago and yes the GM and MOD is aware of this person. Makes me wounder if this is way out for those hackers or some database error, example if X hacked change his Ign to Y then new player choose the name X. -
There could easily be a few ways
-Special number for each user
-See past usernames
-Ip lookup same with hardware / mac / hostname etc
-See similiar reports on same user
etc etc
The system is working(not fully, but still), those who I have reported have been banned (They just dont reply what I know of) -

Yes, he is trying to out smart the GMs and the community so we can play and not see his previous conviction. So far he has been successful 20+ days safe.
Any one with success report? who saved X profile before report and then X change with success ban after IGN change in the past, would be nice to hear. -
I normally link their profiles in the comments section just to be sure!
Interesting, I might do that but only after this particular player is banned latest report. Until then I have abstained from Ranked or reporting. I have saved few files in other modes recently but will not report at the moment. It seems they are backlogged in reports. -

It also helps with keeping track with the player profile because sometimes, I end up reporting more than 10 hackers per week depending on how much I play and my luck. That can get really confusing if you many reports and having the profile link in the comments is a good way to keep track of things. -
Yep. I've faced some VIP guys using aimbot, speed, wallbang all at once! When reported, they just change their IGN and mock you whenever they get another Ranked match against you. Its so discouraging how this guys can bend the system to their will just because they put money on it...

Is easy to track them even if they change their IGNs
One example:
BomBoy. you should remember him, now is Mr.Trump and yes still unbanned, also with permanent M4A1 from ranked.
One more example is Kiz]-KaciRaN (not the one from this season, this one is his marshal account, he cheated in the previous season, also reported but ofc not banned.) now his IGN is -GB]Y[OCAL

In all fairness GM Kanadian was helpful during the ranked event and banned 3 players for me within a day. The issue is not the GMs but old case reports which created back log and no matter how many more files we send, we will always be behind and taking long.
Unless a Magic Reset Button, Wipe the old cases 1 year or so ago, not conventional but whatever to reduce back log. I think I have deleted many cases that remain opened for 8 months ago , not sure if that helps or not -

They do use IP bans, but IP bans can be bypassed.
