NACL Announcement: Other Leagues || Delays

Hello everyone,

We are aware that the "Other Leagues" section of the forum is still broken. Round 2 of NACL will be live as soon as the forums are consistently fixed.

Consider this downtime an extension to any teams who have not been able to play their matches in the meantime (3wp, Radiant eSports, etc.).

Hopefully this will be fixed soon, and matches will be able to continue as scheduled.

I think you could use Excel or something and create the play matches/rankings. I have no idea why they moved it in the first place.

I could, but given the match communication threads need made, and several teams needed a little extra time, this seemed like a fair balance.

If anyone from 3wp sees this my team Toronto can play Friday or Saturday if the extension allows us to.

We don't need the forums. We could use a groupchat like discord or something to communicate. We have to stop depending so much on them. We are the community and we have to take care of each other. Delaying your tournament because someone wanted to move your league to "Other Leagues"... which was unnecessary and not fix the issue of it constantly disappearing isn't the thing to do. You should move forward with an alternative way of communicating. This is literally the only tournament right now. We were let down with CFCL Elite League and the whole format of it. So I think it is important and critical that your league is not delayed. Think of another way for teams to communicate. Even if its just the team captains in a groupchat on some app or something. Forums are kind of for announcements anyway and not really the ideal way of communicating instantly.

I've had several people suggest this; it's a good idea. Also, the mods I've spoken with are unsure when this issue will be fixed. I'll keep the community updated.
