Question for GM/MOD
I don't know who answers in the support section but i've reported a ton of hackers and got the response saying to fill the sections in the hacker report thread.
Respectfully,
I won't report the dozens of hackers 1 by 1 every time i see one, again, respectfully, i won't do your job for you. I've reported a lot of hackers through regular tickets and i won't be filling the name of the hacker, what round he was hacking bla bla bla.
I want to play to have fun, it's already a lot that we're reporting, but we can't report individually when we find 2 or 3 hackers in the same game.

so...uh...what was the question? If it was 'who answers the support tickets' then it's neither the named GMs or the MODs. Pretty much MODs just patrol the forum and are just players. The GMs you see pretty much do events and are the 'public face' to our version. Then there's the Support Staff (IIRC they have GM01 GM02 type names) they're the ones that answer support...supposedly.
but honestly...and this goes both ways (looking at you support) but if you can't even be expected to do a simple task like fill out a hack report instead of using a normal ticket....then why would you expect them to do anything about it? Both, reporting and verifying reports are (or rather SHOULD BE) simple tasks.
Though I will say the only mandatory information in Hack Report tickets should be the name and the replay file with everything else just being extra for helping identify exactly when in the replay it occurred. Especially since, if you believe what the GMs have stated, that once a report is filed (through the appropriate channel) the replay is reviewed regardless. -
I asked one day about clan farming punishment and their reply was basically submit a replay of it... like how am I suppose to do that? I don't think they fully read what is being sent to them. If you expect them to get banned don't get your hopes up, player I reported just got unbanned and I clearly proved he used a 3rd party program.

*slow clap*
It's simple tasks that i don't want to do when i play a game, get that?
I didn't attack anyone, i simply said that i don't know who answered me, if it were the mods or other staff, period.
If you think that in order to stop hacking all it takes is to report, them i give you another slow clap and a vote for you to get a job at Customer Support here, since u love to report and fill forms instead of playing a game which you spend money. -
If you run into multiple cheaters in game and you don't want to fill out multiple reports pretty sure that one replay and adding their igns on the ticket telling that is more than one is fine, I've seen someone say they've done it in the past. I honestly commend you for continuing to report can't say the same thing for me because I won't even bother to report, one from previous experiences and two running into cheaters that have been reported by people not only in ranked but FFA pub rooms and some even have more than one vip, and when someone says "they'll report" to that cheater he simply laughs because he even a cheater knows how useless their system is.
And yes I've sent report through ticket also, if it's not allowed they can simply reply and say that but if they reply like they did to me the way they do as if you had sent a hacking report who's fault is it? Clearly the person who's suppose to be handling the support system it's their job, if they didn't even bother to tell you, this is the "Wrong department" or "Please use this ticket format". Like when you call to any store they have different departments that accommodate your needs. -

I've sent in simple format, with replays attached. They'll ignore it until i put one by one on their sections, i wont do that, i don't want to fill out forms, i want to play. -

Well you spent the time to come to the forums to complain about support, why not put that energy into filling out a hack report if you really want to put your hacker replays to good use. -

How can they be sure they're farming if it can't be proved? I don't see anything wrong with asking for a replay. If I go ahead and blindly accused your clan of farming, they wouldn't just ban your clan without evidence, even if it does look like you're farming.
He got a temporary ban and he wasn't hacking - what's your problem with that? He was punished. Hackers get permanent bans because they ruin the game for everyone else and don't give a fair chance. He went afk with a bot and didn't kill anyone. It's bad, but not hacking-bad. -

Not to mention that sending in a report with just the IGN and a replay doesn't really help near as much. You should WANT to add in round timers, exact places the offense happened, etc. I don't think a lot of people understand how MANY reports they get and they need all the details they can get to make the situation go faster. What if the player wasn't really cheating until the later rounds of the match? Not knowing that just wastes time where they could've gone right there if you had provided those details.

I see that the strategy of coming up with hack detection system a far away dream lol.
I only created the thread to see if the staff would accept reports in a simple format.
I'm reporting 3,4,5 hackers at once and done it multiple times. If you think i want to watch the dozens of replays taking notes about igns round where they hacked, it's a stupid idea.
Is it really that bad to try to make the reporting system a bit more effective?
It's really easy to point the finger and saying that i'm complaining about support in forum, its another matter to actually offer a suggestion.[MOD]Andrew wrote: »There are a lot more bad players than there are staff members. When they come in waves everyone who wants to enjoy a legit game needs to pitch in to help clean it up. If you have no interest in that, that's fine just don't expect any sympathy.
Silly argument, i just said i'm reporting hackers, just need a bit more flexibility so i spend more time playing the game than cleaning up the inefictiveness of the staff team on hacker detection. I want to help, i only wish that you actually tried to maintain the players instead of trying to bring in more players when CF is worse than ever, servers in UK unstable for a long time, hacker issue escalated since day 1 of ranked...[MOD]Polleus wrote: »Not to mention that sending in a report with just the IGN and a replay doesn't really help near as much. Good point, i truly don't know how many they receive.
I don't want to start a riot, just trying to be respectfull and i want to help fix the game. I write all the IGNs in the details in the comment section. It just takes too long to replay all the dozens of saved files and take notes of the infractors and i hope you can see that from the point of view of the player who just want to have fun and not to be a hall monitor.
About the ammount of support tickets, if you have to report individually every hacker, there'll obviously be a huge inbox... If we can report more than 1 player at once in 1 message then i'm all for it. It's just not practical to be reporting individually considering the current situation. Please don't confuse criticism with not wanting to help.
