I would like to publicly show my appreciation to a key member of the community, X0tek. Gold X would not have the opportunity to participate in CFCL if x0tek wasn't an outstanding person. He has ALWAYS responded to any questions that we have had and gone above and beyond any expectation to welcome and promote a new team to play this game. He has offered his help in showing us new maps that could potentially take weeks if not longer to get a competitive understanding as a team.He and members of GetBrikt have spent endless hours to help us understand the game at a more competitive level. It really shows how welcoming some key members of the community really are and we really appreciate all the support. The guy puts his heart and soul into Crossfire and it truly shows. Give the X0tek and Getbrikt some respect, they deserve it.

Good job to Getbrikt! As you said SOME key members of the community is really trying to help new teams coming into the game, but take that fact that you just have not even put anytime into the game and never even touch the game before and you guys just get a guarantee spot? It's really unfair to many team as we had to work hard and dedicate our time for this game while you guys just walk into CF and get a guarantee spot. I mean its not your fault that you got the spot without even laying a finger. It's totally the GMs' fault. How do you expect people to be competitive in this game when a team just gets an easy way out? I DON'T UNDERSTAND! But congratulation to the CFCL Elite spot!

We were not guaranteed a spot in CFCL. Pro tip: Something you see on a random stream should probably not be taken for face value. I apologize for any headache that a simple meme has caused. Please vet your sources before you try to drag someones reputation through the mud. I appreciate all the twitch support from the community, it has been overwhelming and I plan on streaming as much crossfire that I can handle while competing in CFCL and ESEA.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I will say this.

No matter what league I'm placed in, no matter what nonsense anyone or anything try to pull, I will always strive to become the best I can possibly be.

I will always give my all, and I will not stop until I achieve my aims.

Agreed, X0tek does put his heart into this game and is very passionate. Any advice or feedback is ultimately coming from a place that will propel the community forward. GetBrikt, his team, all are very dedicated players and deserved a spot in CFCL ELITE. So hopefully next month will be different for those who perform in OPEN and for those who don't in ELITE. Hopefully the ELITE league is a revolving door and opportunities to be apart of it will be granted. I believe an entire month of a league is enough time to determine if a team deserves to stay in ELITE and if a team deserves to be promoted.

Also random question, my team never received a response back about our spot? What happened? And also do we have to re-apply to open or since we didn't get into ELITE did we get moved to open automatically?

Props to xotek honestly it takes a real man to help a team that got in a league they dont deserve to be in especially when he should 100% have their spot. Im actually amazed at it and really happy to see this level of sportmanship.

This is one of the nicer threads I've seen concerning CFCL lately. Very nice sportsmanship, I think it would have been even better if xotek could have been able to play against you all in the finals or something. His team can come in like a secret boss at the end of a game for a hidden prize.
