Don't get me wrong, if other teams deserve to be in the event over ours I understand that. However, I'm confused by what "mindset" you mean?

Over the last 4 months, Instinct has not played this game. Their reason? "There's no point unless the prize is big enough." They didn't even sign up for the NACL. Why? "We don't care about this game, the boys don't want to play unless they can go to China."

Teamw0w has not been actively scrimming or practicing until I hosted the NACL, because "There's no point unless there's a competition, we don't need to practice to win anyway."

GOLDX only came to this community two weeks ago.

My team has consistently been playing and active in the community over the last 4 months. We not only have been creating video content to help the community (here, here, and here), we also invested our own money in an event to stimulate practice and competition throughout the game via the North American Competitive League. Not only that, we have consistently reached out to stimulate cross-version gameplay and competition, encouraging KOWAI and 3wp to play in our events.

Literally in every possible aspect of "community-friendly mindset", we have gone further than most of the invited teams.

So, while I can understand that myriad factors have gone into the selection process, what "mindset" would you like us to have? Because I would really like to understand the reasoning behind this so we can fix it in the future, when we've done nothing but attempt to help the community over the last several months, in addition to by far being the most skilled team (aside from STDx, who I believe is still the #1 team).

Your team simply was not chosen this month, after an at-length discussion amongst the team responsible for CFCL. This may be changed next month, dependent on how you play in the open (if you decide to play in the open), the general conduct of your team on the forums and in game, etc.

Please do not open threads about the same issue after others have been closed. We currently have no further statement on any teams chosen or not chosen until a list is officially announced on our CFCL Page.
