How Long Until Name Availability

So I know this one guy who hasnt been on for a year and the name is pretty cool. How mucb longer must I wait for his name to change to AAAA###, or will it change at all?

Honestly, Ive had an account that I havent visited since Dec 2015 and the name is still there.

Normally, people don't lose their Names automatically. You can request such a thing from the Support though, they'll check his rank and the like and give you the red light or green light depending on the Situation.

The whole "AAAA####" Deal was a one time purge that was announced about a month in advance, in order to free up dead account names.

So long as they logged in within that time, they kept the name.

If you stop playing you stop playing, no matter what rank you are.

The aaaa names were from a large purge.
If you want to free up a name you need to send in a ticket and ask for it to be freed. It will take 90 days after that for the name to be freed.

Unfortunately that's what the deal is. So if you see some cool names gogogo FREE ALL THE NAMES!!
But yeah =/ gotta wait
