Ranked System explanation ?

Hello,
I want an explanation for the ranked system
I have a gold rank in Snd , but havent played since the last ranked event 5 months ago
But i still have my gold rank
Some people said that if i dont play i will de rank !
There is an ongoing ranked event and i wanna pass it cuz i dont enjoy playing with hackers
Will i keep my rank and get season rewards ?

You won't keep your rank since you will de-rank once you open Ranked Matches again. You need to open Ranked Matches to receive your rewards at the end of the season.

You are silver 6. Play or get silver rewards.

Explanation: You de-rank every 2 weeks that u don't play untill u are silver 6.
It won't show ur real rank enless u open Ranked matches or wait until the end of the season.

I have a question. Suppose you have diamond rank in rank S&D, but you don't play S&D for two weeks, and instead you only play TDM or FFA in those two weeks. Will you get deranked on S&D, or you will not since you played ranked, even if it was other mode?

Each of the Modes have their own ladders, do they not? So if you don't play SND, you'll derank like usual, or so I'd like to think.

But I am not really sure on that front myself, so I'm rather interested in that train of thought as well.

I reached gold in all 3 modes like months ago, when I opened my profile it said I was still gold, but when I opened up Ranked during this event I became silver in all 3 modes -.-, but at least I reached back to gold in tdm and ffa

Okay. Thanks for confirmation. I reached gold in FFA on 26th because of the event, but wouldn't want to lose it again by playing against hackers or not playing at all. I think I don't need to play it again since it's less than two weeks of this season's supposed end.
