Worth Sticking around?

I just started playing CF about a month ago. I have noticed A LOT of issues with this game already. There are numerous posts in the forums about a lot of these issues with NO REAL ANSWER to a fix. "We are aware of the issue, and hopefully it will be fixed during the next maintenance. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you." or "Just wait it out" seems to be the 2 most common generic "answers".
Other than the overwhelming amount of VIP players, the few that are spamming sniper rifles, the CONSTANT crashing of servers, the OVERWHELMING amount of cry babies, and let's not forget the glitches (which seem to be in almost every map). Crossfire seems like it could be an "OK" game. As of now though, these issues do not seem to be of great concern to the developers.

  • I can certainly see how the Game in such a state can be quite a turnoff to newcomers.

Well, I'd personally tell you to make the decision to stick around yourself.

Do however give some Reports as to the Room Errors you are experiencing at the link below. It ought to help them nail down the issue somewhat.

  • Are you having fun?

If so, stick around. If not, don't.
  • It's probably time to fire up old school Runescape.

Yeah im having "alot of fun" with all these issues around. Don't you like having fun getting kicked out and can't play for matter of time?

I have only had 2-3 games kick me out in the past month or so.
My main issue recently is the lag spikes, and not being able to join certain servers.
So yes, I've been having fun. The lag is frustrating, but I still have fun.
  • Overall yesterday was the worst, like 6-7 zm3 host error, 2-3 snd where got kicked out with no error message and about 4-5 Ffa host errors. Spent more time af.king than actually playing...

Understandable, you have a good day sir.
  • b-but cf made 2 billion dollars last year and was more successful than League of Legends..!!
  • There's quite the paradox here, where the community complains we dont have enough english speaking players left (true) while at the same time, everytime someone from the said category asks if its worth to keep playing OR to come back to the game, the same community tells that guy not to stay/ come back regardless of reasons (which are also true)...

And before this is misinterpretated: im not saying the community (let me clarify by community in this example i mean the forums) is responsible for players leaving (because its not) its just that I find funny what I said above ^
  • It's a legit question when you see the total chaos happening right now.

I've asked the same questions in past, it's how i've discovered the forums. If at this time someone explained me that CFNA will become an hotspot of high ping players unable to communicate, i will never invest myself in it.
Today, if ever i have the possibility to transfer my account/stuff hardly earned to "another place that i can't name for esoteric reasons" i will do it within 5 minutes without any form of hesitation.

Somes are borned with an infinite tolerance and are able to accept everything they face, it's not my case.

I'm sorry that you have this bad experience, because the game itself is pretty enjoyable when we are not facing problems like this. My thoughts on those generic answers is that, either they can't say more than that due to their politics about reserving staff related things to them, OR, they still don't have a proper answer to give atm.

I'm also thinking developers are aware of these issues, it's just that they won't tell us about that until they get fixed. I mean, at least, when fighting a major issue like this current one, they really must be doing something about it (right?).

We had problems like this in the past, and they were all solved, apparently. I just hope this time, the maintenance is aiming to fix all the server issues.

I see your status in the forums is marked as "Worthy" but, are you really?
I guess you've "stuck around" or are you one of those that trolls forums and provides no useful information about anything? It's people like you that make others abandon games like this .
You know, sometimes games like this go through stages of issues I described and fix them rather quickly. I just wanted to know if this was the case or do these problems go ignored. That's all.
Thank you to all the ones that replied with an honest opinion about this.

Sorry you are having these issues. We all are.
Personally, I would stick around until the next patch update, which I think is May 23 at 11pm EST. If after the update, these problems still persists, leave for a bit. Hell, I may even give CF a rest for a while if there is no fix after update.
As you may well know, there ALWAYS going to be an idiot in ANY forum that provides no useful info about your legit question. Don't take it personal.....Karma has a way of dealing with these people.
