Impossible to complete CrossfireGoals Event
First you have to wait hours to get a proper game going cuz everyone else get error and leave as soon as the game starts. Then finally when you are in a game, there are random lags and freezes where everything stops for a few seconds and then you find that you've lost almost all of your HP or are somehow killed. Finally the servers kick you out or all other buttons in the lobby become unresponsive, so the only thing you can do is read a7a and why GMs from people typing in chat. Then of course you can't join any game cuz it will then give you the error "can't join room due to host error, please try again." All you can do then is quit CF and call it a day.
There is no possible way that the community goals for this event will be complete. I even have been able to finish only the TDM part till now, cuz we were busy already doing 25 games of ZM3 past few days for another event.

That sounds about right, yesterday I played SnD, got 30 kills in like 20 mins, at 12-12 I got a "Can't connect to host", so I packed my bags and turned game off via End Task. -
While I wouldn't say that I've had an unplayable experience doing the SnD Matches, it certainly does bother me that I'm sitting there, hardscoping the living hell out of that corner, and then suddenly having some guy teleport past my scope and end me.
While it probably is Karma for playing that way, I certainly would appreciate it if it got looked into.
But overall, I can't really complain about erroring out or anything. I managed to complete FFA,TD, Escape and am about 100 Kills into SND without much trouble. -

Im with you on this one, I cant really complain because I dont have any of these issues except crashing out of server if Im idling in lobby but I do see everyone else crashing left and right. -
I go on North America Servers now, so I can complete my games.
I usually go with others forumers like Altair (who doesn't 'car' btw), even with +120 ping it's still playable. But you can't do much agaisnt pub-heroes tryharding with 18 ping and VIPs/M14 EBR. -
Didnt even bothered remotely with the event.. Those goals require simple stuff such as:
1. Actual functional servers
2. Free time aka summer and not the period while everyone regardless of their grade has damn EXAMS.

At least a decent forumer/player is on our side. Like the thing that bothers me isn't the problems, these are frequesnt with other games too,Take a long time,meh kinda disappointing.But when they know about the problemS capital S and they are doing NOTHING about it trying to milk the last couple of dollars out,THATS RIDICULOUS -
I could finish my event but the event of the community is difficult. Since the server all lagge and one often gets an error it is very difficult to create. I would like to thank if at least the server to be repaired would be a start. And for the Crossfire Goals event to be extended until the end of may the community has at least the chance to create it

Yea lots of server problems for a lot of people especially the UKers I believe. I'm not running into TOO many that'd keep me from completing the event myself in MOST circumstances considering most of the tasks can be accomplished within 10 games to the exception of pubbing the escapes. But I certainly do agree the timing of this event was bad in terms of exams and finals for students.
My problem is lack of motivation. While the event is certainly nice enough in terms of rewards...the rewards for the personal goals for me just aren't motivating enough since I've got the weapons from Mission 3-5 already and Mission 2 weapons don't appeal to me. I know that's a personal problem...but it certainly knocks back my motivation. And with finals/error issues a lot of people I'd normally play with aren't getting on and that destroys my motivation as well.
I honestly doubt we'd hit more than 2 of the community goals at this point which is a bit of a put off to me as well...but that failure to hit those community goals is likely due to the amount of errors people are getting and the server crashes that nix out a lot of kills people are getting at any given time. I mean...if say UK 1 suddenly crashes and it was mostly full of people playing in-game that's potentially thousands if not 10k+ kills removed in a single blow from the list and it delays people from getting back in and getting more if not makes them just quit for the rest of the day instead of playing for a few more hours to get more.
I will say though...I do like the fact they tried to change up the event's goals instead of just doing weapon type kills again. But there really needs to be some kind of push on fixing/upgrading the servers especially with Summer on the horizon which would normally, theoretically, bring in an increase of player activity.
TL/DR (brought to you by the people who can't read books) I agree, server issues need fixed ASAP as the errors are effecting general gameplay quite negatively which is in term hurting the outcome of this event and others. -
Will post this here as well, maybe [GM]Violet can help us out with Goals as she did for Sheep Mode Community Goals with small GM event, play with GMs etc to kick start Goals. I'm okay with 15,000 EP For Escape but 100% Goals would be great

Sadly. I cant enter na1 na6 uk2. All Servers wont let me join cause MM Server Connection failed..... -
I thought it was a bad idea to have both the ZM3 25 games and this event at the same time. Even no lifing CF it was hard to do both at same time, plus the d/c make the events longer. I completed 3/5 Goals with 100 more elimination kills and 60 escapes to go. I think I might not make the escape one since noone is really playing it and not worth the trouble for a few axe crates. And it looks like the community won't make the other goals so probably no EP for me.
Are the people that are getting the Can't connect to host d/c error are you on WiFi or wired? -

i don't see the point of a compensation under these circumstances, even if they gave a perma vip to everyone, its still useless if we can't start/play/finish a game like 70% of time!That might be stretching it a little, as nice as it'd sound, heh.
I dunno, they could double the amount of Crates for the Personal Goals you completed, or lower the Community Goals, perhaps give out a more Generous amount of EP for the Community Goals.
