Claim an Old IGN

Currently I am looking to claim an old IGN that is currently being held by someone who has been inactive for over 9 months: here. When I contacted support to free up the IGN so that I can claim it they said that the account is still currently active, but when I asked how they figured that they gave me the old copy/pasted reply that they basically couldn't give me even the general qualifications of how an account is considered inactive and how long I would have to wait for said account to be inactive to take the IGN. So this thread is to ask if anyone has any knowledge of these qualifications and any help would be appreciated.

1 year if the account still has the IGN
if the account doesn't have the IGN anymore, you gotta wait 3 months since the IGN was changed

One thing I know is that if you log on, but don't join a game or if you log on and play or ZM mode only, for some reason it doesn't show up on your profile. For example, say I played nothing but ZM for 2 weeks. On profile it will say "Last seen 2 weeks ago".

The guy might have logged in, whispered some friends, then logged off. It won't reflect that login on the profile.

I'm also waiting for someone to go inactive so I can take their name .-.

Tried taking like 2 IGNs that were both inactive for more then a year and support refused my request, so I don't think you'd be able to take an IGN that's been inactive for 9 months

Before I had the name Bunni I tried to get the name "Bunny" which hadn't been in use for about a year I believe.
Their reply was that I had "Already received the rewards for this event".

I end up just using Bunni instead.

I've been wanting to change my clan name back to Ability, however it's been 2 years and I've been sending multiple tickets but they keep telling me to wait 90 days... But try sending it as bug problem and maybe that'll work. After I put it under bug problem they are currently working on helping me.

I got a name change and I will change my ign to woodentable. My name is bad and I dont like it anymore

Support is weird sometimes. My friend once requested an IGN from someonr who was inactive for only about 3 months, and it worked. While I tried a few months after with an account that was inactive for over 2 years and they told me the account active...

They did the same to me,But I couldn't find anyone with my name but it said the name was taken so I was extremely confused. o-o

What did you say in your bug report ticket to get them to help you?

I sent multiple Support tickets regarding the issue i was experiencing with clan names.
I disbanned the clan Wreckless and 1 year later i tried to create the clan again...
Ofc, i cant it gives me an "error: unavailable" so i searched the clan up and found that the clan still exists, My clan with the same logo same year created same welcome message and it says that there is 1 user still in the clan
But there are no names under the clan page so i was confused....
i asked support to see if its a bug and i get the " we cant free up any clan names" like boi that doesn't answer my question

Send a pm to kanadian and describe what your problem is, he will check the ticket and tell someone at support to properly answer and solve your problem.
Few days ago I sent a ticket requesting to remove permanent ban from my forum account. After 2 tickets they replied I should send one to account administratio but account administration had nothing to do with my problem. Someone doesnt read the tickets properly and just redirects you or gives you half of an answer.
