Can anyone who entered this and played just tell me how this went.
This event was not organized well . There was players not from the signed up list and, players used vips ( kukri beast, shovel, and one was wearing vip char ) in the beginning. I believe all these should've been explained well before the game had started. -

To be fair, he did claim that he'd accept anyone that showed up, likely due to not enough people having signed up. Whether or not that was in DarkArtZ's interest as the sponsor is probably another story.DDTANKPRO2 wrote: »Will be taking anyone who shows up

Well, announcing who got 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place would be a good thing to start with.
After that, it'd be in your best interest to get to delivering the ZP Rewards for said people who won.
Although from the 3 apparent winners, 2 of them weren't even signed up. You'll have to see what you can work with your Sponsor on that front, since he seemingly didn't want said situation to happen.
Perhaps omitting those from the rankings who weren't signed up might be a thing to consider, although some people might raise their eyebrows. But well, It's your Event, and everything is under your discretion. -

As already mentioned above, the event had some inconsistencies in general (using VIPs at the start of the event wasn't really a problem since it stopped almost immediately and people kept playing with non-VIP weapons after that) (people who didn't sign up beforehand here and showed up that day, well, many of the already registered couldn't show up that day and you needed people for at least completing a room, so I guess that's ok, especially since you already have mentioned above picking up anyone who showed up in that moment).
I didn't know there was neccesary to have spectators in these kind of events. It would have been good to have some that day though. And finally, the person who was determined to stream could not be present that day (although I'm not sure if any of the persons who participated was streaming) but well, there's the detail.
However, the game itself was entertaining. I'm not the kind of person who should criticise the work you've done (because idk anything about organising events to do so, lol, and in this case I'm just stating the points I could notice about the event) but if you're planning doing more events like this in the future, take all of this (and also what other forumers are saying as well) into consideration. :T

Problem is i stated to.the host i did not want any random.people joining even if it was only half of the signup list. I also mentioned i wanted spectators. To be honest the host never even contacted me about any details of tjis event apart from the zp.

I think there are 2 ways to approach this.
1. You can reward the top 3 players of the prize pool but since the third place winner didn't sign up
2. Reward the top 3 people that signed up
But I think the second options would bring too many problems as to who qualifies for the event so I think go for number 1 for now and take it as experience for next time for the event to be properly hosted in terms of organization. -
okay i will be the bad guy for this decision but, I will only be awarding people who signed up zp. I made it clear to the host that i did not want random people to join the game. if that makes me the bad guy then i am sorry. ( wouldn't be the first time anyway) i want pms from the top 3 people who signed up asap so Diev,Tyrant and Flightless. just confirming there ign's
