Wave Mode Card ranking

Hey guys lately I've been trying to rank up one of my wave mode cards to max (level 10) in order to get the ribbon, but it feels broken af. I've tried once before to get my card to max back when there was an event for free stabilizers and got the card to 9, before I ran out and then failed my card 12 times in a row bringing it all the way back down to level 4 (not every fail gave me a -1). Now my card is level 9 again after wasting 10k ZP on stabilizers, but it just won't go to the last level. I had to use over 35 stabilizers and it's still level 9 and not budging. Does anyone know if there's a trick to this or is it just a money pit?

Just luck I believe. I had some golden cards and only those 10 stabilizers you are talking about. I got my card to +7 or 8 without stabilizers then I started using the golden cards I've been saving. I had like 4 or 5 saved. I used them all, and I could only reach +9 then I used a random card I had and I got +10.
You should know that you can only enhance a card to +8 without stabilizers, and you need luck of course, I can't even pass +6 without them nowadays.
Golden cards = higher chance of success and with stabilizers it will be greater. I recommend you use them starting from 8 only as well.
Try to win a few wave games like 2-3 before actually trying. Its a theory made up by some players. I don't know if its right or wrong though, but I still believe its all about luck.
I tend to think that the joker card got lower chance cause its bought for gp, and I already bought a lot of these. I couldn't get +7. Some could get +10 with joker only though.

I have got like week ago my medic card to +10 with using joker cards only. I dont think it is bugged, its all about luck. And btw you can buy stabs with coupons, 10 coupons for 5 stabs. I have bought over 40 stabs with coupons until I have got +10.

RIP just spent all my coupons finishing my set of perm weapons, no regrets lol.

According to wiki, you can use a stabilizer and a golden blaster for the highest success rate:
"To increase success chance for upgrading 5+ cards, it's best to use Blaster-G card, as it has the highest success rate, and coupled with Stabilizer card, it can sometimes assure 100% success."

Just out of curiosity, which card did you want to level up?
And...well, there are a lot of theories, like for example, one of which people say going to +10 nowadays is even harder than it was before.
Although I'm thinking it all is luck based in the end. The only part that can give you a real advantage would be to use gold cards for upgrading (as already stated above) + stabilizers.

Btw, Idk if this can help you, but for me: I tried with about 12 stabilizers on a Commander class card, from +6 to +10, using only Joker cards for the upgrading process.

It took me a long time to get my medic from 9 to 10. Maybe 50 stabilizers? Idk it has been a long time. My second card took like 12 to get to 10 lol. So you know yada uada luck yoda yoda may the 4th

I'm just trying to get my Gold Blaster to level 10 (level 9 right now). Didn't really have a reason for picking it over any other cards except that it was already level 6 when I started trying for the ribbon again.
