Yes, there will be a Season 3. However, at this time, we do not have a date on when it will start. You could be looking at a few months wait.

I would give myself a try as well, but things get harder when I play at UK servers (high ping issues), so I'll wait a bit more for that chance.
However, I support the idea of keep doing this kind of activities for the community. (:
