What's up everyone?
Just wanted to pop in and comment on how great things are looking in here. You guys should try to settle on a date sooner rather than later as well, as I think a sense of urgency will get things moving more quickly.
I had a few ideas for how to help, but none of this is official in any way:
*cover prizes in the form of ZP (so ConsOrAlex doesn't have to pay out of pocket)
*helping with advertisement to increase your viewership / get people into GM (e.g.: hosting your stream on our twitch, announcement thread possibly, or a banner? stuff like this)
Anyways, just wanted to let you know I've been following this everyday and I'm looking forward to what it will become. :cool: -
My account got a perm ban without reason and i don't have another account to play with, so i can't participate in this tournament.
i want to replace Adrian92 (Void) with me, he got 6 votes and he participated in November tourny and his team won, in MOTG his team got dqed .. he really wanted to play this one, so please accept my request. GL for you all

You have two people which have seven votes, team captain had to choose between one of them. Doxen? / flextilla (7 Votes, Decided by Team Captain). Putting in a personal request to ignore one of these contestants to replace you with the 11th place vote isn't right, and illogical. You forfeit your slot, then both Doxen? and Flextilla get to be on the team. -
Honestly it's "my" spot and i'm free to do what i want with it, i appreciate flextilla and doxen situation but team captain had to choose one of them *with or without my spot* +i didn't recommend a zm player to take my spot, Adrian is a known gm player who plays since 2009 certainly he is the best person who can take my place and I am sure that the whole team will accept him.You have two people which have seven votes, team captain had to choose between one of them. No, it doesn't work that way. It's not "your spot". Its a friggen ladder system, if one person from the top 10 drops out, the next person below takes their place. How do you not understand this? I don't care who you recommend, i'm sure he's a solid player, and hell, he might even play if another from the top 10 drops out, but to say you can choose who takes your spot is stupid lol.

You can't play the tournament. You DROP OUT. So now, a tournament based on VOTES, all of a sudden is ruined by your logic. How is a person with 6 votes going to kick out a person with 7?I didn't mention any type of "drop out" word, i'm talking about "replace" you know the different between them?
Do you realize by your wording, when you "replace" yourself, you are in fact DROPPING OUT of the tournament to do so. Of course the tournament hosts are going to say no, literally because of the reasons I have outlined in the posts above.

Well if I can get this up and running I'm afraid that these teams are based on votes, the date voting thread is pretty dead and I'm not seeing enough support as of right now to actually run this thing. I'll consider extending the date voting deadline but I was hoping to get everything setup ASAP. While I'm sure Adrian will fit just fine into the UK team, these teams were based on votes from your peers in your respective server. So you saying you can't participate or needing to drop out means that I move down the voting list and pull up the next highest vote. So that means Doxen and flextilla are both eligible to compete now due to the shared #10 spot being able to be split into #9 and #10. I'm sorry that I cannot allow you to choose who replaces you because your server voted for you, not Adrian. If I were to play the single person picks and chooses game, I would have just made each region pick a team captain and that captain picks their team of 10. But players are based upon a mass vote, not a single persons decision.
I am sorry if that is troublesome for you, I just want this to run smoothly and as fairly as possible. -
