How is this possible?

I joined someone i have in my friend list and the surprise is he had 1 ping, even sometimes it was 0.
I'm pretty sure he doesn't live near to NA servers.. Indeed he's egy.

So how did he do that? Any program or something? lol

PD: Can someone tell me how to put images in my thread? xD

He would have used a program. We can't tell you how as it's not allowed to be used to begin with. He could get banned for it, actually.

To add an image, first upload to a website (www.imgur.com). Then it will provide you with a BBCode. Copy and paste that here

I remember like 4 or 5 years ago cant tell, there was a bug in the servers for like 1 month , we all had 0 ping

That's what I thought. Their real ping doesn't change, correct?

U guys sure it's a illegal program?
i played snd with a GM today and he had 2 ping in NA.

So it shouldn't be impossible i think.

Unless the GM's have some special methods or something.

correct. if u have lets say 150 ping your ping will be still 150 even tho it says 1.

Gms playing from the office where the server is located ofc they get 2 ping lol

i am sure this one didn't use illegal program ,
but yes there is who use illegal programs .

GM's have low ping NA servers since the servers are there as well.
Now some players might actually have such low ping since they live next to the servers. But yes mostly and sadly some of the players use illegal programs to mess around with their pings. The ping might show 1 in game but his actual ping is the same as before.
I know players did use such programs to avoid getting kicked for let's say being ace and lagging or just simple reason kick cause lag.

No. In NA I used to see a lot of people with 0 ping and they were always lagging and teleporting around.
